per the patch notes: “Strafe now casts the last non-channeled Hatred spending ability casted.” however when i use strafe right after using any hatred using ability it doesn’t seem to cast any of them. is it suppose to do it once or suppose to do it all the time? doesn’t seem to be working.
yes, it’s broken. even if it casts them, it does so only for a short time then the game seems to forget what skill was used for whatever reason and fires nothing. Needs fixing
I would also like to know if it’s intended that the skill gets cast towards the cursor instead of towards an enemy.
With strafe it’s kind of impossible to take aim, so when a skill is cast, it’s usually cast towards an empty area…
I think I put together why this “bug” happens and how the power works.
The power is automatically cast ONLY when our cursor is hovering an enemy AND the power is cast toward our cursor.
As long as THAT enemy is alive, our power keeps getting cast towards the cursor, NOT towards the enemy.
Once the enemy is dead, we need to move the cursor over another enemy to have the sanctified power start again.
This makes the power EXTREMELY clunky and not that usable.
It also seems like when some enemies cast a skill it would make the sanctified power stop working.
For example when the hulking beasts put up their shield the power stops casting.
I haven’t gotten around to testing this yet but that’s a shame, it should be working the same as GoD but with spenders instead of generators.
It seems that blanket AOE non-channeling hatred spenders only cast in the direction you’re strafing. I’ve found this to be the case for both multishot and chakram and feels really clunky.
All other “targeted” spenders (cluster arrow, elemental arrow etc) seem to lock onto nearest enemies which feels great when it actually shoots more than once.
I’ve also heard that leveling up paragons causes the “memory” of the strafe spender to reset and you have to re-cast your spender for it to start spamming it again.
