Upgrade rare mighty weapons at the cube.

You’ll be back spinning and winning in about 5 minutes.

The issue of no warning is well known to the community and it’s been told to the devs multiple times. So far they’ve ignored it.

Also never upgrade critical items you use if you don’t have spares.

I’m sure there are other ways to have recource recovery, like wind shear rune on rend, some other ways also like using a topaz in your helm, reaper wraps with some globe generating skills. You can also use a build just to do some speeds like ingeom with a ambo pride and a messersmidt in cube to spam some fury generating skills like war cry or charge. All till you got your other weapon. Or you can just craft some if you have some mats.

Btw i see you using skull grasp, that is kind of obsolete, better use a band of might anyway.

Like Gururlan says there are ways. WW can be played with Little Rogue and The Slanderer (unless something is drastically changed since I last tried it).

The BK blades are unnecessary for WW build. The Wind Shear rune alone should provide enough Fury recovery in density.

The BK blades are fine for speed content but for pushing definitely go for Istvan’s Paired Blades.

The whole limit of one is pretty dumb, like who really cares? Who’s honestly going to get every piece Primal with all the stats they want in what will be now a 3 month season (after S29)?

It’s a nonsense limit that should not have been implemented in the first place, Primals are not even much better than well rolled ancients to justify a mystic like property if they’re crafted.

Would this make all your Primals crafted? Probably. Would it break the game? Not even close. Primals are too rare for what they do which is never even more than 1 GR per 3-5 Primals difference from Ancient. Unless you’re literally comparing a minimum legendary affix on an Ancient with a Primal which should never be the case as even a regular legendary with a near max legendary affix is better than an Ancient with near minimum. They’re criminally overrated.

Yes, it would. It would make other loot instasalvage. It would make rerolling items pointless, killing off bounty runs. It would make one of key gameplay features, the loot hunt, pointless.

One crafted primal equipped is perfectly fine limit. Any more would be detrimental.

You act as if you get these primals for free and you can just slap whatever stats you want on them.

There’s still loot hunting because you need to salvage a Primal first and there’s still bounty runs because you need to roll the correct stats on said crafted Primal.

These are not good arguments, never were.

Why do people who have never really supported the forum have the need to post a goodbye (I quit) on the forum?

No seriously, let’s have a conversion and use math as an example because this part will eventually become true but really it would only be an issue with NS which if you’re NS you would hope to get all the perfect gear you want eventually right?

So let’s use this argument that it would ruin a season. I’ll be extremely liberal here and say every 6 Primal crafts (It’s more like 8+ average) you get scores all the perfect stats you want for 13 gear slots.

Okay so Primal is 1/400 legendaries (this is also a liberal minimum fyi, real average probably 500+) for 13 slots.

So we get 400 leggos * 13 slots * 6 crafts = ~31,200 legendaries bare minimum to absolutely finish your character.

Considering if you just did GR speeds nonstop it would net you 300 per hour then decrease by all the other activities you do which brings it down by half at least if not more, but bring those numbers up for specific crafting like bounty mats you’d be looking at 240+ hours to get to this point. But really it’s more like 300+ because you have to subtract farming, leveling and everything to get to that point of efficiency.

Sounds like a fair amount of time investment in 3 months.

So people have to meet your standards to vent?

Doing speeds for loot as the goal you can reach 600+ legendaries/hour. Granted, any season but this one that will sacrifice quite a bit of XP.

Probably a result of rage and frustration. We have rage quits. Could there be such a thing as ‘frustrage’ quits?

Of course we also have some who do ‘fake’ quits!

You realize by the time you get enough mats to craft 13 correctly rolled Primals, 99.99% + of legendaries are already insta-salvage?

It will still take significant time to get the mats to craft 13 correctly rolled Primals. The loot hunt is still safe.

Portals already did this for this season. If they keep it, no one is ever going to do bounty runs except to get RoRG, Avararice Band, etc.

Pretty easily to get 13x bis primordial. Ashes aren’t exactly rare in this game. Especially when you do it properly the cost is 55, not 100 per upgrade.

Having said that, i don’t think anyone objects to unlocking primordial limit other than purist try hards.

It is unlikely that the Devs will read any threads here. Perhaps, if the title was more like " Primal Upgrade recipe needs a warning" instead of “I Quit” , it might have attracted a CM.
They have been made aware of this issue since the PTR and many Bug Reports.
Hopefully, they will address the issue in the next Patch.

Agreed. That, too, has been suggested many times. I’m not sure why it has been so hard to fix.

Okay you know what I totally forgot to factored the Altar in this, which I’m assuming they’re only going to adjust the actual power attributes and not extra boost to loot like extra Kadala legendaries and double primals it provides.

So yeah that will push up the numbers quite a bit from my example.

Fair, that would make 13 Primordial much easier to attain so maybe raise to limit 1 per item category then. Weapon / Armor / Jewelry.

Well, the forums are a tiny tiny part of the player base, so I’m not really sure you would get any accurate data anyway.

Blizzard recently stated that D3 has “millions” of players at season start, and the forum has maybe 100 active users.
