You were playing a Barb. This season gave the Immortal Kings set, arguably the easiest set dungeon in the entire game.
Oh, and you do it while WW’ing… so no excuse, really, not to have done it.
How did you get to max level?
Far as I know, paragon is unlimited.
There are 4 set dungeons. These dungeons are more of a challenge to complete season journey than dictating how you should play the real game. Story mode, rifts, grifts, bounty runs. If you don’t follow the leaderboards, you can still play every build
Yep, I get Mastery of the IK dungeon done in around 90 seconds.
It takes you that long?
I almost always level a Barb every season specifically so I can do the easy IK Dungeon Mastery. I’ve mastered a few other ones but to me, leveling a Barb and getting the full IK set is easier than trying Tal’s.
“Max” probably means level 70
It caps at 20,000 apparently.
Set dungeons suck, yes we all know. I dont do them either
Most of them are no big deal. But there are a few that are super annoying.
Seriously? You quit because of the set dungeon? As others have already stated, the set dungeon for the barb starter set (IK dungeon) is ridiculously easy. Most other classes also have at least one stupid easy dungeon.
Here’s the thing: you are supposed to adapt to the challenges given, not the other way around. While I agree some of the set dungeons have some asinine requirements, overcoming those challenges are still the key part of the set dungeons. Is it really that hard to temporary make adjustments to your build to complete one small(ish) obstacle?
And there are a few that are super easy, so no sympathy from me for players who cry ‘I can’t complete season journey because of the set dungeon requirement !’
Definitely.
The Wizard’s Firebird comes to mind. It can be done asleep.
Oh no, the sesonal theme isn’t available after seson in NS … Yeah like 90% of them don’t, but sure that’s a huge problem. Also pick the easiest set dungeon and be done whit it, like everybody else.
I’m fairly sure it is THE easiest. xD; I mean there’s that really tough thing you have to do which is spend enough fury to reset the CD on WOTB/Ancients so I could totally understand the difficulty… ;D <3
The Mage towers were some of the most entertaining and fun challenges I ever had in WoW. Having done all of them, I can say there was more than one way to achieve success in them. There were builds and setups that made them laughably easier, sure, but not the only way to complete them.
For set dungeons like, dayum. I could totally understand if the gripe was about one of the tougher ones, (especially since some of them became a bit more tedious with the power creep granted to set bonuses, so you could remove supporting multipliers to help alleviate this). But yeah, as listed above me, IK was our seasonal free set, and you can just blitz through the set dungeon for it like you’re walking through the park. In and out, 5 mins. Mastery included.
This is odd to me. Ethereals from Diablo 2 were never permanent, and honestly as fun as they are I wouldn’t want them to carry over either. Seasonal themes that shake up the entire experience of the game are amazing! But hunting for a perfectly rolled ethereal is even tougher than finding a good ancient weapon.
Strangely enough, people said the ww one was hard. It was the easiest for me when farming the wings, besides Ik barb
Seriously? You quit because of the WW set dungeon? It is a pain in the butt, so that’s why I always do the IK one. The IK one you can master while in a coma. All those pieces dropped for you I am guessing, but I am also guessing you just broke them down. And using the excuse that you’re quitting because ethereal items do not carry over is simply admitting you are not an informed person. READ. It was all laid out ahead of time.
Your season barb is paragon 598…that is not max level!
70 is max level
