No, so my money is on that you changed something.
Like Kargon, you changed something, no reason to have this difference.
So, you had “good” GR before and now… No.
Every GR is different, that’s why you can clear a XXX GR, one time, and don’t clear the same level several times.
Seeing as you seem to be fresh to the forums, the number of similar posts like yours where people switched away a setpeice, removed a needed rorg or otherwise screwed their build up unknowingly is not small.
And you were given a valid answer. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it any less valid.
You asked whether there was a sudden GR difficulty spike. The short and long answer to that is “no”. Such things don’t happen. GRs at set tier are always equally difficult. The only things that change are enemy types and tilesets.
You either changed your gear/build somehow or when you did those good runs you had extremely good luck with rift RNG and now you had really bad RNG. The combination of enemies and tilesets can make a huge difference of how quickly one can progress through a rift. Why else do you think rift fishing is a thing?
That is why I usually don’t push much further than what I can clear in an average of 10 minutes. The 10 minute rule came from a guide on how to improve your solo GR clears. That guide that was in the older barb forms was helpful regardless of the class you played, I still use it today.
