Made it to 1 item left in Conqueror before Hard Stop. Your Conquests are booty this season. Do better next season. Sincerely, Old man
The master 8 set dungeons is a pain, and the campaign in under an hour can be tricky solo.
Leveling 3 gems to 65 should be easy, and reaching GR55 with 6 sets should be too.
So is it the kill all bosses in 20 mins that you’re looking for?
This one is pretty easy also. Any decent bounty build and some knowledge of the few random maps is plenty.
Another option for the OP is to do 2 on SC and one on HC.
Kill all bosses in 20 mins is a hit and miss for me. But i usually start with chapter v, adria, urzael and malthael. Adria and urzael is hard to find. If i exceed 5 mins killing them, i restart the run. If i can kill them in 5 min, usually i can complete the conquest. Hope this helps you. I an using god dh and did it on my first attempt at 800 paragon, no augment, level 70 gems.
A good trick is to start a game with Urzael or Adria as a bounty as Malthael has a static map.
A base GoD dh has more than enough damage to do the conquest. One thing I do to keep my hatred up, is to use Blood Vengeance as a passive. Tactical Advantage and Hot Pursuit can also be helpful. Smoke Screen/Displacement is also a must.
Boss mode is totally about learning the maps a little, and not sticking with the slow builds you’d like to use for something else. Nowadays many normal T16 builds are good, but each class has possibility for easy tuning for high speed at least one build.
I also had problems hitting the 20min mark when I first tried this several years ago. After that I’ve been getting better and haven’t been even near failing it since then (next attempts being close ones in 18-20 min range).
This season with some minor luck I cleared it in 13-14 minutes at T16, with a build I didn’t use for it before - and I looted many goblins and boss gem drops also on the way.
Urzael is not hard to locate usually, but Adria is. I usually look for a map with Ruins of Corvus having a bounty quest if I were to start a boss rush. Doesn’t have to be Adria as the bounty.
I know that there are a few bounty types that spawn really close to Adria’s door in Ruins of Corvus, some red portal bounties literally spawn in front of her door. Some other bounties make it easier too since locating them then going past it puts you in the path of Adria’s lair when you follow it straight. Lastly, a few bounties that spawn there always lead you to a dead end always so it’s better for you to memorize them and avoid those whenever possible.
Agree.
I do it on a AoV sader. This last time took just under 16min.
I have completed several seasons before. “The Murder Bear is my favorite” I tend to stick with my WW Barb and do not play “nor have the interest” any other class. As far as hardcore goes. That is a young mans mind torture in my opinion. I could try to build more sets for the 55 GR and get that conquest done but The 20 minute boss run “even with the Bulkathos set for speed” leaves me with 5 bosses left and 2 minutes. that will still leave me unable to complete the season. I guess I need to “git gud” as the younguns say but I think I will wait until next season. I appreciate all the feedback
Alt and Hc toon is the easiest way, getting a set can take some time though. 20hrs on hc ssf to find a set to get it done.
added boon of the hoarder and wreath of lightning for those few times the hatred ran low and wanted to keep speed up. So fast. Don’t need much in the legendary gem department on T10, anyway.
Just so folks know, you don’t need Smoke Screen/Displacement on GoD to do Boss Mode. At a certain, point more speed is overkill when you have 20 minutes.
Here’s my set-up. Grab any old Yang’s. It doesn’t need to be ancient or even be perfect. Even a 40% Resource reduction one will solve any Hatred Issues that might occur. But if you’re worried about Hatred, just use Vengeance/Seethe over Dark Heart.
Slot Tactical Advantage and Hot Pursuit in your passives. Slot Shadow Power/Shadow Glide and Smoke Screen/Vanishing Powder and Prepartion/Focused Mind. Smoke Screen/Vanishing Powder takes away the Discipline Cost and adds a 6 second cooldown. It’s basically there just to activate Tactical Advantage. Shadow Power/Shadow Glide is your speed boost when you need it, and Preparation/Focused Mind and Yang’s will ensure you never run out of Discipline.
Folks can fish for Act Five with a map with either Urzael or Adra as a bounty, but it isn’t necessary. You’ll have plenty of speed to make up any time if you get lost on a map or two.
Anyway, that’s how I handle it with GoD and I’ve yet to fail a Boss Mode since GoD was added to the game.
If you have altar done u can spam the healthpots on CD, too, to keep the speed shrine up with gloves of worship on follower. Costs you nothing.
And this is the moment I ceased to care or desire to offer help.
You won’t change your approach, you demand the game change to accommodate you.
The conquests this season are my least favorite rotation true, but that’s just due to the putzy nature of them. They’re easily soloable if YOU adapt to the challenge.
You refuse to. So… forget you.
You can make boss mode in party. Thtere is a small guide
https://maxroll.gg/d3/resources/conquests
Saving town portal with party member give a significal time saving. In a good case second player already complete (or don’t need) it. Then him can just search bosses while you are figting them.
I setup Adria for the bounty.
If not I just restart game.
So when it’s Adria bounty, I run Act5 to Act1 and it’s so easy to make it under the time limit.
When you mess up a couple of the longer boss runs you may have to start over.
I really enjoy this quest.
Hi Bionis, it’s a multiplayer game,
so here is a hint about the kill-all-bosses-in-20-mins conquest:
You can do it with other people which immensely benefits, to explain the most ideal situation everyone searches for bosses, but only you need to kill all twenty of them, so others could keep searching. Repeat. That would be the easiest 100% fool-proof method. But usually all party members can complete that conquest together first time, because… it is extremely efficient that everyone can TP before doing the boss, and then everyone can continue to search at their previous position after killing any boss. (Sidenote: The “conquerer” has to be in the boss room). IMO a 2player party is already quitely enough if the partner is a helper-only, and afterwards you can help the other person in a new game.
So, you do not always need to have the most time or use the best build or be a super nerd to beat such game in a timely manner.
Oh and the game is online-only, too, so there is no shame in using that “online” part.
I do agree though, the third Conquest is somewhat hard this season: the story run or the 6x-mastering. I’d go for the mastering (which IMO folks find hard just because it’s the only solo-conquest), it takes some try and error but much less than story run.
Sincerely
The mastery route is foolish in my opinion. It’s totally unnecessary.
3 gems to 65 = laughably easy
Bosses in 20 mins = easily soloable, even more easily accomplished with just one person to help
REACH GREAT RIFT 55 SOLO in 6 sets. Any 6 set, at all, can easily smoke a 55, you don’t even need the right stat lines, you just need the gear and 6 GR keys.
I strongly recommend you do the 4 sets for your class that appear on the list, and then make just one alt and do those. It’s ridiculously easy. The last one can be a bit putzy but by no means is it difficult at all.
Congrats, you beat guardian. Good lord.
You can do ALL 5 Sets for your Class. You can even do the 6th Set from a different Class, although you won’t have the Set Bonuses. If you do have to create an Alternate, at least you’ll only have to farm 1 Set for them to finish the Years of War/Dynasty Conquest.
