What a JOKE.
Did they “overshoot” Sader too? Where’s the nerfs?
It looks like Sader’s clear to do 140+ for Blizz, but Barb is not allowed.
MicroRNA where you at now? Want to post a table about how absolutely broken the new sader set is?

This is the reason S19 won’t start this Friday. It’s a “PTR” on live server.
I bet it will get nerfed before S19 start.
That won’t cut it. Clears will appear in Era LB between now and then.
They also let people post LB clears with the old patch, using old Bazooka wizard, they didn’t force people to update in order to play.
What a mess this company is.
They may wipe out the new era leaderboard. This happened before.
True.
We’ll see.
Still screams incompetence to me, TBH. They apply one standard of “too strong” for Barbs with WW but Sader is cleared to hit live at 140+ and clearly much higher.
What kind of bias is that?
Messy, messy, messy.
Yeah if the person has very high paragon then that is an outlier that won’t ever impact Season. Nobody will be that high in Season.
The Era will also get wiped again when they make another round of set and item introductions.
I’ll agree with that. The team maintaining D3 is very new in Blizzard and is the same team making Warcraft 3 Reforged, and you can check what a mess is happening there (or has happened in the past year’s development).
MissCheetah remember that many times Season power > paragon.
Some of the fastest clears in the world last patch were in Season with half the paragon compared to anyone in NS. For example, a paragon 4000 team doing a 150 in 4 minutes.
If the kill streak buff this season is strong enough, a paragon 5000 sader will beat a NS clear.
Sader will be stronger in Season than in NS. A Season paragon 3000+ Sader can beat that clear.
So… you can’t apply that standard to Barb and nerf Barb then overlook Sader. If you nerfed Barb because a p10000 person did 140 in 14:00 mins then by that same logic Sader must also get nerfed.

Not sure they are new to Blizz, but they are new to Diablo 3 which is why we have had some of the issues (stash tab fiasco), that we have seen. They have good intentions, but are still getting a feel for what the game and engine can actually handle.
I am glad they are trying though and learning, even if it is bumpy. They could have just left it in the maint box forever and not even tried to touch game mechanics, items, sets, etc.
Oh, I mean the team is at least a re-org in big company. This kind of things will inevitably reduce productivity for a while.
Being a developer must be hard some times, but they should really listen to the community and speak clearly if they really want it to be smooth and ppl to not get angry, imo.
I don’t disagree! However just like cooking is not a committee activity, neither is game design.
That said, picking up on the major themes and wants of the community is important. Telling us they considered X, what they think of it and why they will/won’t do it, and updating us, is good. Not that they should do that for everything, but the major stuff maybe?
Like I said in the Barb thread…all part of the plan. They want Crus/Monk to be on top this patch, but clearly jez they overshot Crus lol. I mean when we saw those numbers and changes we knew what was coming to no surprise.
I feel bad for all involved really. Nev, the devs, Barb, Crus…this is going to get messy to try to justify this to everyone. I already know though, no justification needed, long live the Crus/Monk patch!
Can you provide a link?
Anyone shocked by this?
Using a pencil and a napkin you knew Crusader had the damage for 145+ looking at those buffs from the PTR.
I don’t think Blizzard has a clue how their own game works.
In my previous post I compiled the leaderboard data for this radish. In 2.6.6 this radish cleared no greater rifts. How many farmers do you think it is reasonable to eat this radish?”
Something about the moon?
In before someone shows up with a table to prove that oxygen isn’t the same as a colored pencil.
Three damn times in one post I nearly killed my keyboard by spitting out my tea
No because it was fake, apparently. Just verified.

It comes back to the same thing again: communication. I truly wish they would either start providing real, ongoing communication, or just stop giving D3 fans false hope and not ask for feedback going forward, if they’re going to ignore it and/or fail to provide rationale for why certain decisions are made.
I truly feel terrible for Nev. She’s our sole point of contact with the dev team, and as such, the brunt of the fan backlash is directed at her because we have no one else who talks with us. It’s all well and fine for the devs, safely removed from the situation, to make this or that change, but she’s the poor beggar who has to come back to us and give the news, good or bad. It’s a hugely unenviable position, one I’m sure many of us have experienced before in our professional lives.

Correct, we’re basically playing PTR Phase 2 for them without them having to do any build for it.
It’s all genius lol. Now they can just hotfix before S19 goes live, but I have a theory that they won’t. They want Crus to be top this time.
Updated title guys. There we go
