Patator just cleared a 145 on crusader.

Good thing his 140 on barb got nerfed though amirite? :confused:

There is not enough data yet for tables :wink: ; however, if you search my post history, you will see that I was worried about the crusader AoV power. Please pay attention to the fact that I said that the “crusader buff needs to be tested.” It seems that I might have been right on this issue.

They are testing Crus, for free on Live without any PTR build effort. S19 hasn’t gone live yet :wink:

I think it’s just as important to post that as well. Who knows, maybe they revert the Barb nerf (fingers crossed).

He just said on stream:

“I am confused about the damage. For Crusader…150. And this is a problem.”

I want to emphasize that he also said (pre lamentation nerf) that even with Lamentation at 200% it brought barbs ‘in line with Wiz’, which I have said repeatedly on this forum was never a problem.

On the America region leaderboard, there is nothing special. I have not checked all regions.

Fair argument, it will probably need more buffs, but right now evry one is testing either WW or AoV. Some are testing monk too so dw, we have a full week and patch just droped a few hours ago.

He’s also saying Hota could clear much higher on stream right now, like 140+ with like 4k paragon but no one tested it heavily compared to WW/Rend.

But yah clearly the mathed out damage of doing a 153 seems spot on for Crus right now.

MissCheetah Monk Solo has now done 145 in China and Sader has done 145 in EU. In a matter of hours. This is without the Season power active. These two builds will be doing 150 solo in season no problem with the kill streak powers.

So… is game design so difficult? That they had to nerf Barb because a 140 seemed too scary? Come on.

You’re smart enough to see the huge discrepancies here. It’s math.

Time to face the music, my friend. These people don’t know what they are doing.

Barb now sits alone at 135 max, while every other class has done at least a 141. Hey, only three more months until we get a week of fun on the PTR again though!

At first I figured they would just remove the “multiplicative” effect from the 2p bonus

Much as I think it is best to be very civil, I can’t help but agree.

The guy who cleared a 140 on whirlrend will , he says, pretty much guaranteed clear a 150 tonight with crusader.

Nev’s post referred to ‘internal testing’ that was carried out. How did their internal testing not predict this for crusaders? If they could not predict this for crusaders, how can we trust the internal testing to be balanced for barbarians?

Or was the point to push barbs into LoD HotA…?

It boggles the mind.
