The damage stacking affix on Bartuc’s, Blackbog’s and Wizardspike (from 10% to 100%) can easily make a noob like me think that it’s a general damage increase to all monsters hit (like Squirt’s). But recently I looked at Maxroll’s ethereals explained page where it’s stated that it works like Stricken and “only” give stacks on one monster at the time (the first one hit). Still a great weapon of course. I haven’t noticed much of a difference switching between the various one hand ethereals (the legendary power and passive is important of course).

Well i read it as a stricken mechanic, but i can see why you didnt as it says consecutive hits on enemies instead of enemy.
