[D4] Lore question based on cinematic

Who wins Inarius and his crusader army or Lilith and her Fallen? Also how did Inarius get out of the chamber of mirrors, he looks totally bad a** with no damage to his body at all. Do angels somehow self repair from any damage relatively fast?

i think angels are pretty self regenerating but it’s probably a question of magic, demonic damage/physical wordly damage.

Don’t overthink it… Bottomless Potion of Regeneration.

well i was just thinking about how imperius got owned by diablo but that was probably also due to the silver gate getting smashed? dunno.

I assumed because Diablo is a true Chad.

True… well played, sir

Who knows honestly. Since Inarius no longer has the Worldstone, he and Lilith are likely close to equal in terms of strength (Inarius probably being slightly stronger). In which case it’d depend on their armies and forces. In which case, I’d say that Lilith would have an advantage, since Inarius would only have mortals at his command (for now anyway) who will eventually grow tired, hungry, and/or weaken due to constant battle. While Lilith has mortals and demons at her command, the demons being able to replenish themselves on the dead foes they defeat, and are easily replaceable unlike the mortals, especially since they’re within Hell itself.

Pure speculation (again), but I’m going to blame us as either the direct and/or indirect reason for Inarius’ freedom.

Angels are able to recover when wounded, even by blows done by demons (Imperius being an example of this). It’s only when they’ve been corrupted greatly, that they become unable to recover. It looks like Mephisto may have simply tortured Inarius without the usage of powerful demonic corruption.
