In front of each dungeon is a heroic stone. and each dungeon should have fixed levels.
If activated, your body is pushed into the spirit realm. You choose a level, and your spirit becomes that level.
All gear stats, traits ect, over that level is blocked temorary
For each level your character is under the base level of the dungeon, the greater the reward when clearing it. and lowest level hits the leaderboard of that dungeon.
and a maximum time limit to stay in the spirit realm.
maybe even a essence system where you only can activate 10 - 20 unless you farm more heroic essence end game.
WHY:
I would love the gear and stuff we find along the way to have some kind of meaning other than scrap.
For example, why have rool on stats under level 60 if we’re not going to use them 3 levels later?
I would love to see low level 2 or 3 piece sets come back.
It would make the reduce level stat in jewels more interesting to play with.
The Story :: the not so importen stuff xD
A spirit appears after clearing the first dungeon.
“Dont be afraid stranger, my name is Kormac in my privius life i was a templar traveling the land with the great nephalim to bring justice oppon all the minions of hell, but after i passed i watched as the minions again kravled up from the deapts never ending… help me bring and end to this plauge, find my stones of power (heroic stone) imbue them whit my essence and i can trasport your body to the spirit realm leaving behind some of your power, and then find and destroy the connection to the underworld.”
The spirit disapears and leaves behind a heroic essence.
