Nope. I can beat D2 Hell with fresh D2 sorceress or Necromancer easily.
When you said don’t farm, it is heavily implying on “farming item”. I can say the same that you try to beat D3 T16 without farming items too.
Also, without putting any points mean that your character won’t be able to use any skills, which is basically asking one to beat the game without using the skill.
Do you even remember what you even posted or what? 
And people are farming at D2 Hell within 9 hours after the ladder started.
You overestimate D2 difficulty too much.
There won’t be 100k views about D3 threads if it is boring and a mess.
