Hi again with question can evil players turn hostle to citys and destroy them?
Doubtful.
At most, you might be able to attack other player characters that have enabled PvP. In this mode, in theory, one could attack a camp… but that’s not the same thing as a city.
As far as I know of; there’s nothing planned to allow players to have their characters take the evil/dark path by choice.
I do not believe we can become “evil” players nor can we “destroy” a city, are you referring to camps?
- We can only go hostile in the Fields of Hatred.
All PVP will occur in specific areas called Fields of Hatred, where “the hatred of Mephisto has been bubbling up from Hell.” When you venture into the these zones, you can choose to flag yourself as Hostile or you can remain a noncombatant. Until you choose to become Hostile, other players can’t attack you, so you can safely explore the area and farm for Shards of Hatred, the game’s PVP-specific currency.
If you manage to put down enough players during your adventures in the Fields of Hatred, you become what’s called a Vessel of Hatred. This status lets other players see your position on the map as a hostile threat — and get a Shard bonus for murdering you. As a Vessel, you’ll have a set amount of time that you need to survive. If you manage to stay alive without fleeing the Field, you’ll get a “big bonus” at the end.

camps yes and why not citys bring army to stop me
Most likely no. But you can PVP with people in certain zones in D4.
Who knows, maybe that they will bring Diablo Immortal faction war into D4 in the future.
so demons can destroy camps but players no why ? why player restricted to be good? wht if team of players want to be just random bandits or human corpse colectors for necromancy etc,
Evil main characters would not really make sense in the story. Those characters certainly exist. The moment a character turns evil, they just aren’t one of the main characters in the game. It would be a bit like getting a game over screen.
I could see some choices in factions though. Like in Grim Dawn. Where you might choose to help one group fight another.
Like maybe the story requires us to access a tomb. Sadly, only the leaders of two tribes in the area knows how to open the tomb; a tribe of cannibals, and a clan of bandits. Or whatever. So you have to join one, and help them, such as by fighting the other group, to accomplish your goal.
That will indeed be the case. From what we’ve seen, players will likely be on the side of good.
Personally, I would prefer an alignment system of sorts, that allows players to choose whether they are good, evil, or neutral (of course, the canon story would still be either the neutral or good path).
An alignment system could be interesting, though I again dont think Good-Neutral-Evil would make sense.
Lawful-Neutral-Chaotic could make a lot of sense (or you know; Angelic, Ancestral, Demonic…).
You are fighting demons, you are being good. But… you might choose how far you are willing to go. Do you fight within the law, and fight fairly, or are you willing to have collateral damage to win, or dabble in demonic powers to get your victory.
Going down a Chaotic/Demonic path might allow you to equip other items than if you go down a Lawful/angelic path, etc. Or just use other enchants, buffs, charms or whatever, if it is too much to have different items (which it very well could be, as you would have to drastically increase the amount of items).
but Tyrael says in end ros cinematic He is a hero who can defeat champs of heaven and hell but within beats a mortal heart that will one day be tempted to corruption on that day will he have str to resist or will he be our DOOM! here we go i refuze to resisst i chose path of corruption chaotic evil of destruction and domination check plz.
The hero’s in D3 RoS might not even be alive in D4. New game, new lore.
- If I understand it correctly we are no longer the all powerful nephalem in D4.
I think it would.
Evil Alignment: You either become corrupted by demonic forces or you withstand the corruption and become a harbinger of darkness. Either way, your goal consists of spreading as much chaos and death throughout the land as possible.
Neutral Alignment: You effectively tap into your Nephalem birthright and fight purge both Heaven and Hell influence.
Good Alignment: You become a champion of good, and fight to purge the world of Hell’s influence, while perhaps attempt to bridge the gap between Sanctuary and Heaven.
I could go on, but that would that would entail listing details that amount to mere speculations on my part, which I’m not entirely wanting to do regarding current subject.
All in all, an alignment system would not only work, but it would make sense in the Diablo franchise, considering how we’ve seen throughout the games how Humans are either evil, neutral, or good for whatever reasons.
Either way, hopefully our character’s exploits and/or achievements won’t be credited mostly because “We’re the O Mighty Nephalem”.
Probably not since the world is shared not individual. Nor has this ever been the case in Diablo. You, despite wanting to be evil have always been a good guy.
If you build your hero as a good Paladin and he does something evil will he lose all of this good Paladin abilities like in D&D (they just convert to a mundane fighter). No more turning undead, no more healing, no more auras.
We might not be, but the potential still exists since the worldstone is no more.
I am not particularly into the lore, but is it stated that Paladins gain their powers from some force of good in Diablo?
If not, there is no reason they should lose any powers.
Certainly could be interesting if some skills had changed based on your alignment however.
Hmm, probably not. Considering that the Paladin’s power mostly comes from the light within, them becoming corrupted would merely corrupt their power rather than rendering themselves powerless as they don’t truly lose that light (unless they become a full fledged demon probably). So in short, their powers would merely become darker in nature.
paladin can lose powers or turn into fallen paladin or blackguard
