Does the silhouette match the necromancer? Not really, at least not imo since the silhouette seemed more either heavily armored and/or clothed than the necromancer. All in all, the sihouette was likely a simple placeholder.

k im gonna say it. It was actually the pally, but they decided to hold it for a little extra $$$ DLC when the game stagnates and people start to quit.
if they saved the necro for DLC they woulda been called out for repeating that with necro every time.
These were both planned release classes, but they are pushing the game out sooner than expected
It was just a placeholder. All of the talk about a Paladin was fan speculation. It gave us something to talk about.

The reason I don’t buy that is because they didn’t have to add the silhouette at all. They could have just left it as it was, leading me to believe that it was legitimately an unrevealed class
No. Which makes me wonder if it was just a generic silhouette or, since this is being designed as a GaaS, they have a few classes being worked on, but with the popularity of the necro, decided to use it first over the possible crusader/paladin.

exactly. Rendering the true form as a dark shadow would take 33 seconds. Creating a placeholder shadow would take more time then that. It was actually the pally, but something internal changed the release order.
