Come on blizzard many of us have more than 3 friends… 4 players is a bad boardgame number for the same reason it’s a bad multiplayer game number. It usually cuts 1-2 people who are wanting to play out of the group…
Give us at least 6.

With the current skill animations and the level of clutter, I think they could easily do 8.
I mean they are able to run 100 people at once on the screen on World bosses so why not 8 people parties like D2?
I feel like at least groups of 6. Why not 6 to a group?
Because D4 is literally D3 with some dark filters and less blur filters, mechanically it is going to be almost identical to D3. Release is going to be D3 all over again, I can feel it.
Cant agree more with u bud!
8 players was an awesome number imo. Lots of interaction between teams.
2 teams could be of 3 players and some random could still join the game to create an even greater experience. I feel 4 players makes the game too empty.
I’m not sure how consoles work now days. Does having it on console limit the # of players?
Also, I think balancing against 6 players is harder than 4.
While I totally agree I think 4 players is pretty lame, this may be less of an issue with the more open world concept D4 is going for. It may only matter in dungeons.
I feel you man!
I think Blizzard doesn’t want to do that for challenge balance reasons…
plus, maybe, who knows, they say, performance reason, but I doubt it…
This totally reeks like Blizz wants D4 to stick to profit more from consoles being 4 max players…
Thats cheap Blizzard, you even claimed that the future looks bright for the PC community.
And dont misunderstand that we want brightness into the game, keep it “dark and going back to the roots” as you have claimed.
I would wait for Diablo 5 if I were you. I heard rumor that Diablo 5 will allow 5 men party!
