Arthef’s Spark of Life
Legendary Two-Handed Mace
Command Skeletons gains the effect of your equipped Grim Scythe’s rune of Execution for any enemy. Every piece of every active set level increases by an additional 3% the health threshold required by the Execution rune of Grim Scythe when applied by your Skeletal Warriors, as well as by 2.5% the damage you can stagger.
Explainer
- Fantasy: Insta Kill Grim Scythe Reapers
- Motivation 1: Execution has a 5% Chance to Insta Kill enemies below 20% health. This rune rivals Early Grave which has a 100% Chance below 18% health. Let’s buff Execution, so it can trigger when enemy’s healh is at or below 100%
- Motivation 2: Microsets are underused. Let’s invent a mechanic using them
- Motivation 3: Moratorium is underused. Let’s invent a mechanic to buff its usefulness
- Gameplay: Command Skeletons
- Best attributes: Number of active Sets levels
- Command Skeletons gains Execution: 5% Chance x 7 Skeletal Warriors = 35% Chance Insta Kill
- Any Enemy: Elites and Bosses included
- Focus: 2
- Jesseth: 2
- Asheara: 2 + 3 = 5
- Aughild: 2 + 3 = 5
- Demon: 2 + 3 = 5
- BlackThorne: 2 + 3 + 4 = 9
- Total: 2 + 2 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 9 = 28
- Grim Scythe / Execution: Now triggers while enemy’s health is under 20% + 28 x 3% = 104% (Always)
- Moratorium: Now staggers 35% + 28 * 2.5% = 105% of all incoming damage (Defer all damage)
- Molten: Absorb the DoT damage dealt by staggered damage over 18 seconds
- Tasker and Theo: +50% Pets Attack Speed
- Zero IAS nor Frenzy: No need for IAS other than Tasker and Theo,
- as it would be converted into damage, which is useless in this build
- Mitigation: If 5% is too much, reduce the Execution Rune itself to 1% or less. Bosses could also build a resistance when Insta Kill fails. Bosses would then become immune to Grim Scythe for 1-2 seconds
- Diablo 4: Can be transposed to D4 using Reapers (Skeletal Warriors) or Sever
