Hey guys!
I’m a newbie in the D3 world and i’d like to know how this world works between PC and console.
Currently i play on an Xbox 360, but i plan to buy a newer one (at least xone s) to play the new(er) content.
So the console D3 world is different from the D3 PC world? I mean can i play with my friends whose use PC? (These worlds are crossable?)
Furthermore do the console version get the new patches?

PC and Console are separate. They don’t play together.
PS3 and XB360 are on patch 2.06 (pre GR’s and Kanai’s Cube etc) but Switch, PS4 and XB1 are on the same patch as PC ie 2.6.10.
You cannnot cross play D3 over console platforms or PC. Each platform only plays with other players on the same platform.
Blizzard are not patching PS3/XB360 but are still patching PC/Switch/XB2 and PS4 to the same version.

If i know well i can connect my battle.net account since xbox one series. Does it mean that the gaming progress is saved to the cloud?
Are there any differences between spells and abilities on PC and console? Or i can use a “PC guide” on console as well?
battle.net on consoles used to just give us a ring and something else. Does not give them actual verification that we have the game ;/. Cloud saving would include having the Xbox Live i’d assume. For the most part everything between console/PC is the same as far as items/spells etc… however due to control differences between the two, What may work on PC may not work “right” on console.
There is no Battle.net integration anymore for consoles, they used to do it but it only granted an extra item (a ring).
Saves are local to console thus there is zero interaction betwen PC and Console as PC uses Server Side Saves.
PC Guides work on Console as they are 99.9% the same.
The factor on Console is the mechanic Nephalem Glory orbs that increase your damage on Console only, these are necessary if you are comparing damage output and GR levels from PC to Console ie you must have the NG buff active.
Certain builds that require density or targeting are more difficult on Console given we have less density and cannot target.
