Due to Blizzard’s recent Maintenance, I’m unable to play D3. Given that I’m using Mac Sierra, what, if any, patch/patches are required to fix this problem; or, should I just upgrade to the next OS, which is Mojave? If it’s, simply, a patch, please, let me know what it is and I can have a tech-friend help me with the installation.

There’s a missing dictionary key in the info.plist file inside the Diablo III.app bundle that needs to be put back in. Without it macOS doesn’t know which OS the app is for and will literally throw up its virtual hands because it can’t work around the issue (by design in order to prevent badly crafted apps from running at all).
I was hoping this would be fixed for macOS users by now but nope, looks like they get to wait for a Windows patch cycle again.
