D3 needs a Nostalrius at least we'd have some consistency

title says it all. worst case scenario, I hate AI but I’d take AI running seasons over this lack of communication from a skeleton crew garbage. Heck they could bring back RMAH to fund the operation too lol

What they really need is for players to understand what no longer being developed means.

But that is about as likely as there being no more “I wish” posts.

I’m having a hard time understanding what you are trying to say. Did you just find a different way to say “you don’t want that… you think you do… but you dont” i think players understand that blizz is trying to make money by selling a new version of the game people already liked, and if they want to follow the same path as retail WoW has followed, then we should have a private server for D3 and we’ll see how many people “dont want that”, hell bring back the RMAH while yer at it! sell items with crypto lol

AI is REALLY good at:

  • parsing common Google queries to generate aggregate “Cliff Notes” blurbs
  • stealing art
  • de-censoring pictures and videos that have that “blurr” post-effect added in
  • generating scams (they can make it sound and look like you to fool your grandma)

AI is still VERY far away from reliably:

  • driving cars
  • operating any type of dangerous machinery in general
  • replacing your job*
  • running a business

(Asterisk on “replacing your job” because if your “job” is one of the things from the first list, then you’re already S.O.L.)

In fact, some college professors made a fake company and had AI agents run it in its entirety, just to see what would happen. It failed miserably. AI is the future, but said future ain’t here yet. I don’t want it anywhere remotely close to my Diablo 3 experience.

(that said, I’d begrudgingly accept AI over Rod Ferguson)

They were very clear with their intentions when they launched the final season of new content; that this game would move into maintenance mode.

They were clear about the recycling of season themes moving forward as well.

Unless they say something, the game will not see much in the way fresh content, if any at all.

My cat could do better than this clown. Even if AI was a downgrade it would still be better.

you keep talking like you think this thread is asking for blizz to work on this game. I know its no longer being “developed” which is why i said someone needs to make a private server like NOSTALRIUS and take it out of blizzs uninterested hands. Maybe you dont know what Nostalrius is and you just made your assumptions that it was a request for some new game mode from some players “wish list” ?
