Guess that means D3 is now blizzard’s afterthought and will be ignored in everything promotional going forward.
Its not a good swag pack. Wouldn’t sweat it.

Such things are planned months ahead. Probably they though that D3 will be dead and D4 takes its place. WRONG

D3 is 11 years old… Those who were/are interested in D3 have already bought it. There’s little to no more money to be made with D3. The game is going on the maintenance shelf just like OGD2/D2:R. With regular powercreep… Err, balance updates and small doses of “new” here and there, D3 had a hell of a run!
D:I & D4 are the moneymakers of the franchise now. The spotlight is on them.

Call me a dreamer but I wanted more in-game content as a proper good bye to a well made game. Like that scrapped Druid class, which they never gonna make because D4 has it…
The current Season is a fluke, and the next Season is a reharsh of previous seasons. What were you expecting them to show at Blizzcon for D3?

Dollar signs are king and D3 is not a monetization platform. There is nothing surprising here. D3 development was abandoned starting around 2016-2017 because acti-blizz shifted their focus to making all IPs as monetization platforms as the main priority. Internal leaks around 2017-2019 confirmed this.
You will like D4 or you will find another game to play. I did the latter.

Relative to the diablo franchise, D4 was the only entity to make it into the Blizzcon pack.
for how much they are charging it should include every D3 collectable ever with 20 new ones lol
