Unobtanium isn’t reputed to be particularly dense. Vibranium is trademarked by Marvel.
It devolved into that because you keep moving the goalpost or off-topic.
And that’s the misrepresentation part. Again.
It devolved into that because you decided not to address the topic honestly and threw up strawmen everywhere.
Oh, and what exactly am I misrepresenting then?
I said that D3 isn’t mediocre, and you responded that it never won a game of the year award.
The logical conclusion is that you consider all games that never won a game of the year award to be mediocre.
That I ever said bring a shareholder gave me anything except quarterly reports.
Also you’re using a false syllogism. Not winning a game of the year award doesn’t “prove” Diablo III is mediocre it’s just an indicator that it didn’t have the widely acknowledged success Diablo II did. Diablo III is mediocre based on it’s own lack of merits.
I am not the one who brought “white elephant”, “dwindle”, “Neutronium”, "changes unnecessary, “award”, “PoE MTX”, “GR bad”, and “weak tea” into the discussion between me and Mathalamus that has nothing to do with the topic in the first place.
You used being a shareholder as a reason why you know D3 will never be remastered, as if that gave you some special insight that the rest of us don’t have.
You used the lack of a game of the year award to justify D3 being mediocre, ergo, any game that doesn’t win a game of the year award is mediocre for you.
Is my skull.
nice. 128 posts and you made 69 of them
Yeah now you’re just back to repeating yourself as if it wasn’t already answered.
I think D3 is great, not perfect:
-It will stay my main isometric mobblaster for years to come, if it will be kept active.
If D3 ever gets a remaster, I’ll eat my shirt. Nobody looks on D2 “classic” with scorn thinking, “Thank god LoD happened”. (Heck, some people prefer it to LoD.) LoD was an iteration and nothing more because the base was already solid. D3 sucks now and forever since it killed Inferno (and I wonder what people were doing in D3 between then and RoS). Now it’s full of weird confused mechanics, and why do I have to wait for max level to start spending paragon?
Make no mistake, Blizzard’s brand sold D3. And hitting every beat expected of a AAA title (pulse-pounding graphics, larger-than-life heroes, etc.) kept those sales. But the great thing about Diablo was it was an RPG half-way between “ultra-nerdy” and “lowest common denominator”. D3 being lowest common denominator is not necessarily to its credit (unless you’re a total outsider advocating for short-term profit motive for some god forsaken reason who couldn’t care less what made D1+D2 great? Coming here with that attitude about the Diablo series seems outright villanous). There’s no telling how a PoE-style game with a Diablo “coat of paint” might have performed…but I bet there wouldn’t be any call for a fourth installment any time soon.
