Been there done that and actually know the difference between sales and profits.
Wheels are a concept widely used in the modern world. Car tires and and casters are both wheels but not interchangeable any more than the ordinary dungeon hunt and greater rifts.
Not all just the counterproductive ones.
I can also buy buggy whips. That doesn’t mean there’s a huge market for them any more.
The sentence I’m referring to is pure word salad.
I’m not wishing it wouldn’t matter if they did. They won’t because it will be rarely if ever requested and it wouldn’t be profitable.
Of course, you will say that because you have no link.
Clearly, you don’t though.
Yet you will still be going to see GR-alike in modern ARPG whether you like it or not.
And D3 doesn’t have counterproductive changes.
Then the game wasn’t as good as you think in the present.
Not my fault you can’t understand such a simple sentence.
Clearly, the “white elephant” is profitable enough for them to keep feeding it until now. If it is not profitable, they would have abandoned it completely before they announce D4 like what they did to D2 in the past.
So yes, they know what they are doing more than you did.
They still have Diablo II ladders and the servers are still up. They never abandoned it they put it into maintenance mode and support slowly dwindled. They’ll do the same with Diablo III except it will never be remade. They may even do the same with Diablo IV eventually if Blizzard lasts that long. They wouldn’t by the first studio Activision killed or reduced to nothing more than a name.
