This build didn’t gain any power. It seems weird that it would have TWO seasonal powers associated with it, which don’t address the build’s problems.
•Archangel power might be decent if it were permanent, only real build you can use it with is blessed hammer.
•Blessed Hammer power just doesn’t feel good, in fact due to our attack speed it seems like a flat out downgrade. It’s already a squishy build and we simply can’t face-tank while spamming hammers.
•Faithful Memory (falling sword buff) needs the Soul Harvest quality of life treatment. The difficulty of maintaining 10 stacks is insane when considering the damage and survivability (even at 10 stacks) is subpar compared to other builds.
Agreed, I was happy with a LOD bomb fists of the heavens build but the Fists damage became insignificant around GR 80
Totally agree with the change to Faithful Memory. It also makes no sense in having 2 of 3 seasonal powers buffing the same build.
If we want to keep the archangel power, I would atleast change it to another skill, E.g.
“After casting Akarat’s Champion, you summon two Archangels that wield
immense holy skills and benefit from your holy damage skill modifiers”
as this skill is actually used in almost all crusader builds.
The FoTH seasonal power needs to be changed to something like every 0.5 second to even make it somewhat viable.
I would also consider changing some of the seasonal powers altogether in order to address some of the biggest issues with crusader in most builds: The stacking of cooldown reduction and movement speed. The steed charge skill is extremly clunky and slow in comparison to other classes.
Pure AoV Fist of the Heaven would gain roughly 250% damage, or 8GRs. Putting it squarely against AoV Heaven’s Fury. A good, but possibly laggy change, like casting FotH at 3.333APS.
Decent Angelic effect would be allowing you to use the Fervor passive with a 2hander + Shield. Works for Invoker, Heaven’s Fury, Bombardment, Phalanx, etc. – not a visual effect though.
