I just start playing like 6 month. what is the differences when I click on my hero tag top right and go to view my hero attributes. its is different from when i click on my hero inventory and view the stat. for str, dex, int, vat and things like damage, toughness and recovery.
would if anyone can enlighted me. Thanks
It’s important to click the Details tab when inventory is open and view the stats. Stats like cool down and area damage and elemental damage. If you for example find an amulet that on the looks of it gives you 8% more damage it may not be better if the amulet you already use has elemental damage on it and the new found doesn’t have it.
Like on your season demon hunter you will want cold damage on bracers and amulet (because cold is your main damage skill). Once it is set up in a better way at least.
You should also look at the “Anvil” tab in the lower left corner of the inventory.
The tabs are scrollable.
is it right for me now to say, one of those two set of stat. has addon calculation to it, like elemental damage, etc. Thanks.
Some stats are additive, others multiply. That might be too complex to go into at this time.

The sum of elemental damage on items is multiplicative to the base damage, that’s why it’s important. Likewise with the sum of skill damage like Hungering Arrow for demon hunter. Some (or a lot) muliplicative damage doesn’t even show on your character screen.
