Diablo 2 was probably one of the first games I sank 1000s of hours into back in the day. I enjoyed PvP, PvE and the community. I was so excited to jump back into it and eagerly preordered. All I can say is without mouse and keyboard support, no lobbies/custom games etc. It does not feel like D2 to me. I have already canceled my preorder because I don’t want them to keep my money and “hope” they fix it. I am crossing my fingers between now and launch they will add these functions. I really want to enjoy this game.

You actually gave me good advice. I canceled my pre-order as well, as I dont want a half baked experience of d2. I love the graphic overhaul they’ve done, but without text chat and lobbies I’m just not for it.
If they implement these things, ill have my 60$ saved and waiting for it.

Agree unless some confirmation chat lobbies will be added for communication will be cancelling for refund only getting half a game compared to PC version. All.people.i.know with console thinking of doing the same.

Communication is everything in a game like this. Imagine diablo 2 or world of Warcraft with no chat facility… Unthinkable… That’s what console players have right now.
Can someone from Blizzard please comment here on console chat lobbies I already know lots of people trying to refund the game. I don’t want to but need to know this information quickly or will have to.

Don’t even give them the benefit of the doubt, refund while you can and just hold onto the money and if they implement it. Buy the game again on release. I, and all of my buddies I played with have already refunded for these reasons alone. It took 5 minutes and no hassle at all to get it refunded.

i mean for me it like what ever but we do pay 60$ for biger/share stash they could have done something 15-20years ago… but they never listen it took ppl calling them out in front of alot of ppl (is this an out of season april fool joke).too try to do something right so that a refund for me graphic is what ever i play stardew valley/terraria/minecraft i do like it but i can play classic any day but the stash is… mule every day
i PO on PS4 but never got the Beta showing up in my Library, Menu, Downloads…but have been keeping tabs on what’s being said here and even over on PC Side…
I just cancelled mine…hearing about the Lobby, communication, Game List issues is bad enough…but I know it’s my fault for not looking into it more but sorry, I just despise Shared loot Games. Never ever had a good experience and in fact leaves you frustrated, ticked off, etc…
…there’s a new lengthily topic already over on the PC General Side…not exactly uniting players. The D2 Diehards love it and all…but with Blizz promoting D2 Remastered as having… “Up to 7 Player Coop and Cross platform”…how is fighting over, 1st come, 1st serve, some going after loot more than fighting enemies about Teamwork and having fun…yea, I’m sure at the end alot are getting Friend Requests…might as well have it as PvEvP…

welll that diablo 2 you play alone and farm alone or your risking it by playing with other…
Hopefully something is done I play console but man is it horrible I’d imagine they would have gave us all pc had or at least the ability to use mkb as well as do custom lobby’s with some kind of i game chat feature it’s like they aren’t even giving us D2r on console.

I think they dont see the massive konsequences untill Februar there will be around 30 Million more Konsole sold , and they could have Sold many versions of d2r . But they take the lazy way and get the massiv refund

Me and my two brothers did the same. I can’t believe they screwed the console versions up so badly. Other people should refund and buy again later if they implement important things like lobbies and in game chat. I wasn’t giving them the benefit of the doubt this close to release.

They should at least give a Statement if they invest some work for us or not. If people see this game like this in open beta without Statement to improve. They will not even get the " one time money" they hoped for

We need people to make a fuss of this on other social media like Twitter etc where they may reply as seems they don’t read this and we can’t post in d2R forum unless u buy PC game too.

Cant you make a party chat and talk that way grouping with the people in game? Most people use that function for D3 instead of in game communications.
U would be surprised how many people disable contacting them if you are not on their friend list, you will be lucky if you can message them, forget about party chat invite.
I just think that requires dev time to build into the game and Blizzard have just said nah use the party system on the Console.
D3 ingame voice chat is utterly horrendous.

I’m fine with the game as is after playing Beta. But that said I am no longer going console for D4 as I am switching back to PC. I didn’t like it for D3 (pc setup better imo).
As far as D2 I didn’t really have much to complain considering its console. It’s just nice to play as the last time I played was 2005, last time I played.
