D2R versus D3 opinion

Depends who u ask. Its a matter of opinion.

Skipping or not skipping is tactic in d3. It means u thinking ahead and make a decisions out of it. If u wanna beat higher GR u have to be tactical. Again if u played the game u know this.

Sure its worse in your personal opinion.

U dislike the itemization which is fair some do.
But for some reason u dont think powercreep exist in d2 even though the game is rly ez and u can just stomp everything. U got more powercreep in d2 as there is no challenge there. In d3 alot of ppl still struggle with GR150.
Paragon is a way to give players reward for playing instead of getting no reward for several days until a item drop.

Consider its one of the better ARPGs today even though its several years old i wouldnt consider it catastrophic. But i guess u like to be dramatic when u dont like something.

Nothing tactical about knowing to skip mobs. Tactics would be when you have to handle different mobs differently. Instead of not handling them at all.

Yeah, that is not power creep. D2 starts easy and remains easy. So does D3. That is not what power creep means. It means you get 12131124411414% dmg increase, and it just keeps adding, patch after patch, season after season.
Which does not happen in D2.

Your opinion.
One of the worst A-RPGs ever created tbh. At least if we only count major ones (as I am sure you can find some obscure ones out there that made PCs catch fire and what not).

Knowing is knowledge. Doing it is actually using a tactic by definition.
U decide to skip or not based on what other mobs on the map, which map u on, how many pylons u got left, the density, leaving a part of the map undiscovered etc. It surely depends on the situation. Stacking mobs and doing other things are also considered a tactic to gain progression. Again if u actually played the game u would know it involves tactic.

Cause its a 20y old game and u alrdy 1 shot everything and cant get easier now and u wouldnt even notice if it did?

D3 still have a challenge and they are throwing in nerfs especially lately to keep it challenging. Guess u missed all the cries about the nerfs on forum?

Not rly. There isnt much competition and diablo is one of the very few known ones. Obv we dont have the numbers on playerbase but its diablo.

U can believe its one of the worst ever. It sold like it was the best ever though. Again if u hate it so much why are u here? And 12k posts? U being so dramatic all the time.

People always cry, but there are no real nerfs. Should remove multiple zeroes from the dmg numbers on items. That would be a decent start.
The delete paragon. Another useful nerf.

There were some significant nerfs, which was there to keep the game challenging.
Maybe more nerfs would fit your preferences better. Others would find it too much and would actually ruin their experience.

Why? A flat damage decrease would change nothing beside reducing what number follows ā€œGreater Riftā€, so what exactly would that accomplish? Beside severely reducing the incentive to play that is.

Well making T16 more of a challenge instead of a complete joke would make things better
and in my opinion T16 should be challenging and not a walk in the park
then any GR above T16 level is an accomplishment
I liked the game better when it was a fight to get anywhere back when I couldn’t even do a GR 70 and get primals to fall now the best GR you need to do in season is a joke and I’m one of those idiots that plays what he wants to play and not meta
What the game was originally is unplayable because of no challenge and the only thing that is close to a challenge these days is doing GR 150
So now people bot to get keys to do GR because otherwise they go comatose from the running through T16 difficulty with the opposition dying as soon as they see you as you just run past them

ā€œPeopleā€ have botted for keys since keys were added. Since forever ā€œpeopleā€ have found ways to automate or in other ways reduce the time you have to spend doing the chores of any give game.

Pretty bold words from someone that has no legendary gem above rank 90 equipped on any char.

So how good is a game when the whole game is considered a chore
Why even bother playing if that’s your mindset
Or am I an idiot because I think games are supposed to be fun and enjoyable and NOT work

You’re an idiot if you play a game you don’t find fun, that we can agree on. There’s tens of thousands of games on the market, focusing on one you dislike seems like a massive waste of time to me.

Well I didn’t even know I had a gem that high and still doesn’t change the fact the game is a joke and no challenge because of it and my characters are designed to be weak and not meta so that I can have some form of challenge
It may be hard for you to grasp but I don’t like a completely maxed out character that is meta because of no challenge
I liked the original D3 Inferno? difficulty with nothing but blues and yellows and maybe a legendary if lucky and getting through it, it gave a sense of accomplishment
now days you can go T16 close your eyes and win, BORING

You didn’t get trough original Inferno in blues, or yellows for that matter. Sure, you could kite mobs in the world and kill them after 30 mins, but you sure as hell didn’t beat any boss enrages.

I have liked Diablo since D1 and only took 5 mins playing a shareware version for me to go buy it
Diablo 3 was also good until they put in the LB and legendary gems and ruined it
I also play the way I like and don’t max out everything and meta so I can enjoy it

So you spent the last 7 years playing a game that’s ā€œruinedā€? Seems like a waste of time to me.

The earliest screenshot I’ve got where my Barb’s gear is shown has 7 legendaries and 6 yellows, but in that screenshot I have paragon 100, so that’s months after my first Diablo kill on Inferno, which would have been done with, at most, 1 or 2 legendaries, everything else yellow.

Like legendaries rained from the sky back then and I wasn’t going to spend money on the RMAH like everyone else
YOU may not of been able to do it but I did showing what an accomplishment it was
and it was no where near easy and 1 fight took an age
I suppose doing T6 hardcore with a brand new character no Paragon and self found is impossible too even though I have made it to the skeleton king and getting him down to a quarter of his hitpoints before dying

The bosses back then had hard enrage at 3-4 mins, so you didn’t have an ā€œageā€.

Paragon was added months after release, and in tandem with difficulty nerfs.

Yes, which proves the screenshot I have with legendaries equipped and Paragon 100 is many, many months after I’d killed Diablo on Inferno.

No it doesn’t actually, since I have no idea when you beat him. It could have been just before RoS for all I know.

So I like Diablo and the whole RNG part of it which is what sold it for me, I don’t know of a single other adventure rpg that does that
My favourite character is the haunt witch doctor because you have no real control over where they go
Besides its my time to waste
I also don’t do LB because I don’t like them
I usually only do legendaries to lvl 25 to get the second power and yes some of them are higher than that but it also ISN’T a requirement to use them
OOhhh bad me for thinking LB and legendaries ruined the game but its not like it’s a requirement to use them

I didn’t say it was easy

Did you delibrately miss the whole
