I saw another thread addressing shared stash tabs among classic players and whether or not their characters would receive those same benefits as LOD players. They absolutely should. Classic can be a blast and the tiny pathetic stash they got is laughable even without all of the additional items from LOD. Let’s be honest, games like these need excessive stash space because we love to grind.
Another thing I wanted to say which may be frowned upon by much of the community is allowing the Druid and Assassin to be playable in classic as well. Not too sure if that would fly but I think we’ve waited long enough and it might actually make classic even better with options to play as Druid or Sin.
I know I know it might be against purist ideologies but I think it would be awesome.
Throughout the Technical Alpha the community was incredible in sharing their feedback, bugs, and other insights from their experience throughout that test. Please share your impressions as we continue to polish the game while upholding the authenticity of the original game’s design. We welcome you to share your feedback on the official Diablo II forums or r/Diablo subreddit.
There is no D2R classic. Unless you are talking about the old D2 game getting the D2R benefits. But D2R is patch 1.14 which includes LoD, so D2R is LoD.
Dude, seriously, do you have any idea how absurd this request is? If it’s classic it means it’s without any expansion content. It is not a matter of being rejected by ‘purists’ or not. If these classes were added to the classic then several items would have to migrate to the classic as well. Certain requests are already becoming too absurd
There’s a new Burger King being built in my city. It’s almost done. I took a look inside and didn’t like how their dining room is laid out and want them to change it.
So I went into the McDonald’s two blocks away and asked for the manager. I really gave him a piece of my mind! Upon hearing what I had to say, all the customers in the McDonald’s immediately stopped what the were doing and stood and clapped at the brilliance of what I said.
I’m totally confident Burger King will surely change their dining room now!
Did you really post about fast food? Hey it’s okay for person to not know information on something. In this case I didn’t know there was no classic. Thanks for telling. Also I don’t really care what you put into your disgusting body please keep that info to yourself.
And to address the weapons not having claws yeah of course that a good argument. I knew it wouldn’t happen but kick sins can be more fun anyways and claw mastery isn’t that good.
Yes, my poor fast food diet has led to being overweight which I’m a little sensitive about you don’t have to be so mean. Why is it always the D2 fans that are always so hostile to everyone anyways?
I am still trying to do something about my weight and I go to the gym once a week. Have you ever seen the inside of a YouFit? They suck! Everything is too bright and cheery and it’s hard to be motivated when using the elliptical machine.
The problem is, I don’t actually pay for a YouFit membership so they won’t even let me in. How am I supposed to tell them how they ought to be decorating their gym if they won’t even let me in??? Ridiculous.
So I tell the girl at the 24 Hour Fitness about this when I’m checking in and she just rolls her eyes at me. I hope that if I do that enough times then YouFit will change their interior decorating.
You think maybe the reason why I’m having trouble losing weight is because I only go to the gym once a week?
@meteorblade
why would a person even care to defend a silly fast food analogy to a video game? Are you sure you’re in the right place? Maybe you should go apply to BK or McD’s.
@beefhammer
I don’t understand what you mean when you say, “There is no D2R classic.” then you say, “the old D2 game getting D2R benefits.” Aren’t you being a bit contradicting?
@dietrich
It’s rude to derail a someone’s post with stuff like this. I could care less about your body weight. In fact having extra fat is excellent for power lifting. If I offended you, I didn’t mean to, (I was more or less referring to BK and McDonald’s food, ill eat it sometimes but usually yuck) but I would really appreciate if we could at least try to stay on topic a bit. Even if I made a pointless thread because I was under the impression that D2R Classic was going to be thing.
Apparently it is according to this reddit post below
OP says:
"Hi, I can’t find any information anywhere so I ask here. I know that D2R will be D2 with the LoD extension. But will it be possible to play „Classic only“ again? So that you only have the Standard classes (without assa and Druid) and no runewords, 5th act and so on? Thanks in advance!
First comment says: “Yes. They confirmed this on the last blizzcon. Just watch the related video.”
IDK two different stories it seems. Not sure why people would tell disinformation.
It seems there will be classic, however no stash. I made a thread promoting extra stash space for classic players. Sheesh forget I said anything about the Druid and Sin. why are two different sources saying two different things? Why does Blizz always recommend to come to the forum trolls for questions or to share ideas?
A response that actually has factual information in it and not some rant about Happy Meals and Ronald McDonald Knights getting triggered when I ask someone to not spam my topic with weird things would be apprieciated.
It’s a simple thread with a simple statement and idea. All it gets is a bunch of weird responses.
They started relatively positive for a fatalist jerk like me and then, slowly, especially as it pertains to console (my preferred way to play as it is cheaper than a PC) is that the game is actually intended to be little more than a relic, a shell of its former self, in many ways but primarily in the “social” platform - will they be added later, post-launch? Maybe. Will I care by then? No.
