Standing from developer pointer of view, the least risky thing is to do is exactly the same as the original game, unless there are overwhelming requests to change, such as stash space.
So, let us make our requested change OVERWHELMING, by gathering enough fan support. 
Everybody has different ideas. Just for me, I support larger stash space and individual loot.
