so never going to get any loot that good because of of grab hacks without personal loot good luck getting anywhere in this game

Personal loot should be an option when creating a game.
And of course, anyone using grab hacks should get banned, and their Blizzard accounts should be deleted.

I don’t see why personal loot wouldn’t be an option at this point. This is 2021, internet speeds widely vary, I am also older and my hands are not as fast as they used to be. We have better tech now and quite frankly I think more people would play MP if it was an option. If it’s not an option, that’s fine, it won’t really effect me as I’ll mainly stay to how I used to, solo runs.
If no one thinks stolen bot accounts aren’t going to run non-stop running grab hacks to sell items before they are banned… Lol

That is how it always was though. It was even worse when D2 released. I was on dial up with a max of 28.8 if I logged on at midnight. I played Necro so the server could run my army while I lagged.
For now, they really really want to try to keep everything the same as D2 patch 1.14. At least for release and a while after.
Over time that may change depending on what people ask for.
Personally, yes, I agree with you. Personal loot should be a toggle.

Play online (with people) only when you need a little assistance with a boss or a certain area. That’s what I plan on doing. Duriel? Kidding me? I am not doing that solo again. Of course if you meet a few people here and there that you enjoy playing with, then play with them only. I am sure you can still make password games. There are ways you can play D2 online and not worry about grab hackers.
I want D2 to stay true to the original, even with a
few warts.
Play solo, then you keep everything.

I am excited for D2:R but will mainly play single player to relive my childhood. The multiplayer experience is so outdated and broken, and it would only cheapen the experience imo.

JK… I seriously doubt that is going to change for many reasons, the biggest being it would require a total rewrite of a core system of the game and since they are barely willing to make even the slightest changes, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it’s not going to happen.
If you are too slow to grab loot and you don’t have friends to play with that can honor code a system so everyone gets a share, then you can always play solo and all of the loot is yours.
It should be a game creation option. You create the game with personal loot on, and it’s on for everyone that joins.
Oops, missed this. That’s what happens when you wake up and within 60 seconds make a post on the forums.

I highly doubt pickit hacks will exist on the new Bnet.

Well, at least for a little while. Whenever the “sightless eye” is turned towards D2:R, that’s when cheating will proliferate.
I only party with friends. So not worried about personal loot. But yeah if running with strangers there will be a lot of people using hacks to quick pick up loot. I know Modern BNET is hack. I hear D3 is loaded with Bots and Map Hacks. So yeah I am sure there will be no diff here.

I want individual loots, they should make a realm juste for this to not disturb the people that want to be able to steal loots, it would actualy totaly fix the problem…
If you don’t want grab hacks make a password game and invite 7 friends who will share the loot ?

I don’t entirely understand your response and can’t tell which part is sarcasm or not.
I don’t want to risk my account being banned here to use grab hacks. Hypothetically, It’s safer for regular people to just buy HRs via third party, let the bots take the risk.
Also, I play off of a 4k 85" TV. Why would I use a small monitor and how would that change anything? In other threads, I have referred to my capped ATT Uverse versus people with Gig down internet. That will make the most difference, hence technology.
Please be more clear in your future responses.
It would completely change the game, and would require core loot systems to be rewritten and from what I can tell they aren’t doing that level of modifications to the game.
Honestly, I spent 15+ years on D2 dealing with bots ,MH and pickit Ect. I always played honest and cheat free but still had a blast and got good loot or was able to trade for what I needed. At this point I do not think they will be able to do much to stop it look at D3 it is a bot fest and it was suppose to be able to stop or limit bots but it fails badly and has for a long long time .
If you think for one minuet they will be able to stop all the current problems in D2 with D2:R and running it on the new Bnet I have a nice bridge to sell you .
At this point you either deal with it and have fun or just do not play it.
