Well, this one is different because we’re discussing a mod that running on a 5 year old ARPG that doesn’t feel like a dated 20 year old game.
But frankly, Grim Dawn Diablo mod is still Grim Dawn.
Now if Blizzard took the Diablo 4 engine and development tools and re-created D2 exactly, well maybe…
I’d still rather play D4 first.

The above will probably better than any remake/remaster that Blizz can produce. Wudijo does a pretty good job at why that might be the case. A remastered/remaded D2 is going to feel too clunky, too slow, too dated…
And you couldn’t post your point in an existing thread because?
It’s 100% irrelevant that you compare GD mod and potential D2 remake, it’s still not a valid excuse to make a new thread.

There’s a D2 forum, I suggest you use that.

Please go and discuss this in a dedicated D2 forum.
This is D3 forum. It has very little to do with D2 remastered or whatever.
Discussing a GD mod certainly doesn’t belong on the D3 general forum, unless it happens in direct relation to a discussion about D3/D4. There is a sub forum for other games though.
D2 remake discussions seems perfectly fine. But it should be possible to keep that within some of the existing threads 
and discussing a GD mod in relation to a rumor about a D2 remaster seems fairly meaningless.
