Current AoV FotH Sader a more efficient Bombardment build

Would this be a fair assessment?.. I mean both playstyles you more or less pony around and let death rain from the skies. It’s just that FotH is now auto cast, more frequent than Bombardment and seems to do more damage.

I don’t really know about LoN bomber. But I did GR110 in about 1min 30sec. It’s pretty consistent 2min. And around wave 130 in EN without taking any pylon. This is under 8k paragon. Not all of my gear is augmented. I’m lazy. :joy: And I’m not using FnR rings either.

I guess with LoN bomber you need timings? Autofist doesn’t need that much presision.

For pushing the FotH Sader also plays around the CoE Cylce. This is pretty much where the similarity to Bombardment Sader starts and ends

For speed yes. LoN has way more toughness at 140+ where you need to big pulls. AoV gets dicey post 130+ bomber can comfortablly farm 125+ where AoV comforts around 110-115. All these are based on 800 s29 paragon. The ceiling is alot higher for AoV on NS paragons, but still not as consistent as bomber in terms of toughness when farming for 150 gems.

AoV is more consistent and delivers a mindless speed run. I prefer Speed Bomber, the pressure to keep up in-geom is fun, but we cannot deny the ease of horsing paragon with AoV FotH.

On GR120s, both builds are able to get 2:00 clears, but on average AoV’s clear times are lower.

The state of the game is weird — they continue to roll out brain dead speed builds. People must want to play and watch TV at the same time.

i just got rid my akkhan bombarment… i feel this build is cluncky and underperforming now with pahalanx reword… the LoN bombarment still is pretty strong and maybe a lil bit more than AoV foth… but this build FotH is very cool and easier to gear than a lon bomb… so i do think foth valor is way better than lon bomb…

This is an excellent point. AoV FotH is just convenient and can be setup early on. When we play seasons, we setup our speed build first and may augment it too.

The only logical reason to pick LoD Bomb for speeds is to take the shortest path to end game push. Play the strongest Crusader push build (LoD Bomb) and have a decent speedster without the need to augment any other set. Ironically, by the time you get your LoD Bomb setup, you’ll likely have full ancient gear for AoV.

Get ready to farm alot… I really mean alot of forgotten souls (assuming you have no issues with bounty materials from doing events).

How many Forgotten souls? Try 200k++ of FS.

Reforging is always faster than getting lucky with loots. The amount of forgotten souls needed to gear LoD is fantastic.

Did the same thing last night.

It was already a slightly clunky build before the Akkhan rework… after the rework though, it just feels like we’re trying to make a square peg fit in a round hole with how this build is played.

If anything, getting rid of a whole build (1/3rd of a character’s inventory) made housing my gear on mules/in the stash easier. And by the time my Sader finishes S29, I should have a geared up AoV FotH and Akkhan Condemn sader. Might need to replace the odd piece if my NS stuff is rolled better but I’d be able to delete about a tab’s worth of redundant items in NS.

Don’t think I’m going to gear up a LoD Bomb build… AoV FotH is enough. Doubt I’ll make LoD Blessed Shield either… I’ll just play DH or Wiz if I wanna play ranged.

But for me it’s worth making Akkhan Condemn since WD and Necro pet builds suck - lol

Hopefully the legendary drops in fissures are plentiful so we can farm both souls and bounty mats at the same time.
