Crusader shield gambling

Currently crusader shields are the only class specific offhand that you cannot gamble for on a different class. please make a separate item category for crusader shields.

Because it’s not a unique type. Follows the same rules as any other class specific items like mighty belts or cloaks.

That’s the point. The other classes have a specific gamble slot at Kadala for their class-specific off-hands, e.g. quivers, fetishes, orbs, etc. The Crusaders do not.

Actually, I’d appreciate a change that Crusader Shields were separate from those that aren’t. When I’m trying to gamble a Stormshield or Jesseth’s (for the extra affix) on my DH it would cut out the junk.

Yeah, Crusader Shields should get their own slot at Kadala.

If they separated things out like it is in the game guide they’d have slots for:

  • Crusader shields
  • Mighty belts
  • Cloaks
  • Spirit stones
  • Voodoo Masks
  • Wizard hats
That’s going to require a bit of a UI rejig.

My point was those off hands are a unique type, there is no equivalent that’s not class specific. Shields are not, they are a universal item, just as belts, chests and head that all have a class specific variation that you also can’t gamble for specifically.

Are you intentionally ignoring the overall point of my posts to nitpick parts out of context?

Not really, just add a new tab. That’s pretty simple since it already has 2.

I was supporting the idea that Crusader Shields should have their own section, i.e. separate from the generic shield type, so they had the same option as the other classes when gambling for off-hands.
