So I was looking thru my stash and seen all the primails i had . So i got to thinking it would be cool if we could turn them in to accrual set item drop item not the made ones, something like this is how i see it. In the cube a Anc set item you would like to see primal 6 primals you are not going to use 1 gift or 1 petrified scream that would fill all nine cube spots .would be a nice season thing
We already have a Cube Recipe for this.
- Take all the Primal items you donāt want to keep and salvage them for Primordial Ashes.
- Use the Primordial Ashes to upgrade a Legendary item of your choice to a Primal quality.
- Note: Unfortunately, you can only equip one Crafted Primal item at a time.
And finally: Diablo III is in maintenance mode. There will be no further ādevelopmentā.
They really need a BIG sticky on exactly this. Especially for new players. OP is obviously new to forums and many players simply do not know.
The ones that are really special start out āI know it is in maintenance mode BUTā¦ā They just have to tell the forums what they want knowing it will never happen.
Takes all kinds to make the world go around.
So let me get this straightā¦
Youāre complaining because a dead forum might get the occasional thread asking for stuff to be added to the game ābecause itās in maintenance mode and will never happen.ā
Then pray tell whatās the harm of letting people know that folks love the game enough to wish things were still added to the game.
I mean, Blizzard is going find out very soon that their cash cow in Diablo 4 isnāt the cash cow they think it is. And maybe, just maybe, they might throw a bone to players who are still playing the good version of Diablo 3 instead of the dumpster fire that is Diablo 4.
But, of course, itās pure nonsense for folks to put ideas into a game that I predict will have a larger player base than D4 as soon as Season 8 drops on Diablo 4. Thereās a reason they keep getting DDoSād after all.
What would be your proposed alternative?
I would say ānot trying to judge you hereā except I am. Harshly. And momma didnāt raise no liar.
You can choose not to read wistful topics, but instead you choose to reply with contempt and Iām idly curious why. What other topics would you personally like to see here? More complaints?
You misspelled āfortunatelyā
Word of warning here. If you salvage an undesirable ācraftedā primal, you are refunded 55 primordial ashes. If you want more ashes for crafting, do not keep crafting an already existing ācraftedā primal, unless you are super hard up. You are wasting 55 ashes with each reroll of the same item.
āFortunatelyā for players who still like a bit of challenge in their games.
āUnfortunatelyā for players who want to craft 13 Primal items to equip rather than craft one and farm 12.
And, it appears to me, @Badddasss is asking for a way to easily craft 13 equipped Primal items. Although, Iām confused by their reference to āā¦nine cube spots.ā I just figured that English is not their native language and something got lost in the translation.
With regards this, the Cubeās UI window is a 3x3 grid. My interpretation is theyāre saying you fill the entire 9 slots of that up with stuff, plus an item you want to become a primal, and it turns it primal.
Iāve seen this argument floated before but it really doesnāt make sense to me. However, itās not that I donāt understand the point ostensibly made; Iāve cheated my way through single player experiences enough, such as with D2:R via mods or Borderlands 1 via WillowTree editor or even D2:LoD via Zonfire back in the day, and I get that once you have the golden ticket, āchallengeā seems to go out the window.
But hereās my argument: SOME people might LIKE having the OPTION to be āperfectā without having to rely on insane RNG. And, if we put it as an OPTION, then those of us who DONāT want to ruin the challenge, could simply CHOOSE not to use said option.
Keeping it purely RNG (albeit snowball-ish once you can speed farm certain tiers of content) keeps ALL of us down. Giving the OPTION of reducing the RNG allows āsome peopleā to have their fun, and the REST of us to still have OUR fun.
TL;DR itās a self-control issue. Even with the ability to cheat in Borderlands, I can still fire it up and play it legit and have a blast. Itās not like āoh, I hacked it once, now itās ruined forever.ā Self regulation. Self control.
Why NOT have the option? Separate it into new leaderboards. We eventually got Solo Self Found, make another category for āNo Restrictions on Primals.ā
EDIT:
Forgot to add, I hadnāt considered that. Good advice there, because even with finished altar, primal drops themselves are still super rare relative to the ease with which one could simply roll/upgrade a new item.
Funny how a thread about D3 turns into a D4 rant. No one is a bigger critic of D4 in the D4 forums as myself. Keywords here āin the D4 forumsā where your post should be.
If you want to post your wishlist go ahead. The game being in maintenance mode makes it pointless to do so but you do you. Whatever letās you sleep at night.
Gotācha. (I hadnāt thought of that. I was thinking 13 Character item slots).
Same result though: Wanting to craft 13 Primal items to equip rather than farm them. Either way, it seems like a lot of farming is going to be involved.
Sad truth, even with correctly rolled Primals in all slots, you still depend on your Paragon and Map RNG for pushing.
Thereās a difference between āLaw of Large Numbers dictates youāll get it āeventuallyā if you keep playingā and āhereās a finite list of materials, upon accrual of which you WILL get what you want.ā
Some people really do just want to see fancy red borders. I say let them. What harm is it doing you, personally?
Funny how you dodged the fact the reason that Diablo 3 is in maintenance mode is because of Diablo 4. So, bringing up Diablo 4 in a thread in which you bring up āmaintenance modeā is relevant.
Also, I find it weird that you folks keep posting āmaintenance mode, not gonna happenā in every thread that brings up further development in Diablo 3. And you yourself brought up that you take exception to folks even mentioning that they already know the game is in maintenance mode.
So, tell me what exactly is the point of you folks telling people āmaintenance mode, not gonna happenā when they themselves already acknowledged the fact the game is in maintenance mode.
Seems to me, your problem is Diablo 3 having a forum at all, seeing as how talking about Diablo 3 and what people want in the game is out of bounds. Maintenance mode, after all.
Not even close. The issue is with folks not knowing when to let it go and move on.
