Crash on startup

Downloaded the game, but it keeps crashing before i even get to the game.
So far i tried:
Update all drivers.
Reinstall game
Scan and repair
Try launching it in 32bit version

I’m having the same problem.I did every thing you have done to.but still kicking me out when I start the act.

Hey, Xale! It looks like this issue is due to the Razer Chroma SDK. Let’s try the following:

  1. Go to the Documents folder.
  2. Select the Diablo III folder.
  3. Open the D3prefs.txt file using Notepad.
  4. Add or Edit the following line. The value should be 1, like so:
    DisableChromaEffects “1”
  5. Save the file and try Diablo III again.

If you do play other games running into the same issue where it crashes immediately, Overwatch for example runs into the same problem, please try the steps available here.

@Wingnut, this sounds like a bit of a different issue than the crash that Xale is experiencing. This one instead sounds like there’s a disconnection that occurs. Could you start a new thread with any error codes or messages that appears and a WinMTR test?
