I have over 100.000 of white, blue, and yellow crafting materials.
When i craft anything that uses those materials it will only use 15 of each that i have over 100k of, or as the game counts 100k = * .
The game says it will cost 990, or more, of each material, but it only uses 15 maybe 20 of each!
I don’t use much of it and it’s WAY too many in my inventory, i want to sell off at least 90k of them, to get rid of the clutter. Or at the very least for the game to consume what it should, please ?
Not sure what you’re writing about… crafting mats are held in a special inventory shared by all heroes of that mode and do not consume any space in your hero inventory or in the stash. AFAIK, there is no limit to how many you can hold of each type.
Would you post a before and after screenshot showing that an incorrect number of crafting materials was consumed.
I tried to replicate the issue (as I understand it from your original post) even if I do not have 100k each of Reusable Parts, Arcane Dust and Veiled Crystals. I crafted 35 Captain Crimson Silk Girdle; the cost should have been:
Item
Cost per
Total Cost
Reusable Parts
30
1,050
Arcane Dust
30
1,050
Veiled Crystal
50
1,750
Arreat War Tapestry
1
35
Corrupted Angel Flesh
1
35
Gold
72,000
2,520,000
I took a screenshot before and after, uploaded them to imgur, and… voilà:

I did the math… and the results came out exactly as expected. So… I’m not seeing the bug.
Just for further clarification: Nothing costs 990 of anything to craft in D3.
You’re looking at the number of Mats you have, not how much it costs.
For example, if you wanted to craft a Level 70 Rare Belt, it would cost you 990/15 Reusable Parts. The 990 is how many you have. The 15 is how many it costs.
