Kanai’s Cube. Trying to convert a set item, Guardian set, so I know there are enough pieces in the set ie 3. I know I have enough materials to convert.
I have two Guardians Aversion (Bracers) which I want to convert to try and get the Guardians Case (belt) but when I hit Transmute, I get the error message “Crafted Items Cannot be Used”
I’ve googled this and can find no mention of that text anywhere. Is this a bug ??
I have no problem converting other Set pieces. It’s only this one that causes me this issue.
Can anyone tell me if I’m doing something wrong ?

Crafted items can’t be converted in the cube like that.
It’s also cheaper, materials wise, to just craft a new pair of what you need.

So if I don’t have the plans for that item yet, I have to wait until either the exact one that I need drops, or one from the same set drops and chance it with the cube ?
Yep.
But if you run some bounties, you should collect all the recipes pretty quickly.
Blacksmith plans for set items always teach him how to make all the items in the set so, if he knows how to make one of the items in the set, he knows how to make all of them.
Again, you can’t use the Cube’s conversion recipe on crafted set items.
