Hi,
Just did the first cow level in new season. I had over 1000 constant kills and when i started the quest to get the 4 chests, once I killed all the cows, Diablo showed up. I took a screenshot because I’ve never seen this mentioned before.
Anyone else see this before?
It’s a part of the season killstreak theme, just a fun little easter egg for fans upon reaching 1k kills. Congrats 
Sweet, forgot about the 1000 kills. I’ve had many 600-700 but never a 1000. Pretty easy on the cow level.
The cow level really makes it a piece of cake 
He’s a bit of a beast though and the drops aren’t really worth it…
(Yes, chat shows a lot of me dying before getting him down)
I’m just impressed you managed to do it alone. The best way I figured out in the end was to have someone bait him and the other person focus on burning him down 
I am kind of surprised he does not have a unique drop, even if it is just a cosmetic transmog item.
Heck, I would have been happy with a Feat of Strength achievement.
Also an excellent idea! It would just be nice to have a little reminder of sorts. I think the Diablo summon was a great idea, and it was certainly something players have been asking for over the years.
I think I died 3 times before getting him on T13. Was disappointed about his drop though. Could of made it something special.
I lost count how many times I died before taking him down. Yeah, after all that there really should be something to show for it. A t-shirt, a bumper sticker, a coffee cup, etc…?
It’s something that one looks out for in HC hahaha, no but really.
He must drop different stuff depending on where he spawns. I got him in a rift and he dropped legs, keys and 3 of each bounty mat. Didn’t see uber keys.
Im not…this is D3 we’re talking about here. Not a real Diablo game 
there’s reports that he drops annihilus charm (probably 1% drop rate) but it has no effects and no mention what to do with it.

Sounds like BS, there would be images and info about the item even if it was that rare, not to mention dataminers ruining the fun for everyone
He popped up in the cow lvl for me and after way to many deaths I did 'em in.
But the drops made the deaths not worth it. 
Yet it was uniquely fun to have something fresh.
Came here just for this. Got my 1k on the cow level and was so quick I didn’t realize he spawned. Going back and collecting my stuff I get one shot by his flame arc and didn’t even see him. Tried to get my Bane of the Powerful back up in another level but still couldn’t get him. It was my first run on anything T16 too. Fun stuff!
I love this event so much that I am even trying to summon the dark lord on my HC character! 
But the dark lord hasn’t responded to my summon yet, I need more sacrifices!
