UPDATE: Completed. I reran the questline starting from The Witch once again, and this time the convo showed up as soon as I went back to Myriam.
I’m not a new player at all, but I’m having issues with a conversation and hope I can find some help here. I cannot get the conversation Myriam’s Surprise to appear no matter what I try. I’ve read the bug report topic on this, where it’s insisted this is not a bug, but despite following all the directions given the convo never comes up. I’ve reset the quest many times, followed the questline from the previous quest multiple times, no joy. I can get the Pandemonium conversation to appear which supposedly shows up at the same time, but not the other one. This is holding up three achievements and pegging my OCD meter, I’d appreciate any help anyone may have!

Have you managed to get the Myriam conversation “Imperius”? I can’t seem to find it dispite googling it mutliple time. How did you get it?
@Perusoe I’ve checked this page out before and have done what it has said many times but still I’m not getting it. How did you manage to do it?
What specific steps have you followed to try to get it?
Edit: I just tried it on my other account and on the first attempt it did not register when I just skipped through the dialog, but when I reloaded the quest and let the dialog progress naturally, it registered.
I forgot to record the sound, but you get the idea. Start the quest, talk to Myriam, do not skip the dialog.

@VitaKaninen Dude, I don’t know what happened, but I’ve been doing that for the longest of times and it never worked. I tried again this morning and for some reason it WORKED!! It must have been your awesome video!

Glad to help! The only thing I can think of for why it did not work before is that we skipped the dialog or were not standing close enough to Myriam, which kinda makes sense since the achievement is to listen to the conversations.
Not sure why this one might be different, but it seems to require that you actually stand there, be patient, and listen. Checkboxes can also be slow to update, but that does not sound like it was the issue in your case.

hello dear friends… well… is there any one who can tell me were my character is and what patch i’ve lost? i’ve been away for 2 years…
If you’ve been away from D3 long enough, (2 years, in your case), you may not find your Characters. They are still there and you cannot lose any Patch.
Try this:
- Start the Battle․net App and let it update to the latest version.
- Check the D3 Game tab and make sure it has Updated to the latest Patch.
- Run D3.
If you don’t see your Characters:
- Quit D3 (to desktop). You do not have to quit the App.
- Run D3 again and check to see if you can now find your Characters.
If you still don’t see your Characters:
- Quit D3.
- Log out of the Battle․net App.
- Close the App.
- Run the App again and log in.
- Run D3 and see if your Characters can be found.
If and when you find your Characters: Welcome back to Sanctuary!
