So I’m playing D3 on Switch and having a blast. I recently started to get into meta builds and finished by very first season today.
I have a question tho: What exactly makes Convention of Elements so extremely burst effective?
My sets give my characters like +14,000% damage on certain skills but for some reason those +200% elemental damage lead to some of my most insane dps spikes? Am I missing something?
Example: My crusader deals like 100b damage with her holy shield skill … and when holy comes around with Convention she suddenly crits for 1000b?! I must be missing some other effect, right?!
Please help me, I’d really like to understand how damage is calculated in this game.
Not always, only when the element rotates to the element of your skill. Each class has 3 to 5 basic elements. Your attack belongs to only one of them (determined by the rune). So, on average, +50% buff (assume 4 elements).
Some players watch out the rotation to fully utilize the +200% bonus.
If you haven’t got the Kanai’s cube, get it. Click the 3 slots to view the legendary items and their powers. The cube covers almost all legendary items.
Ok, that’s what I meant I use this ring on my shield crusader and I know by now that holy comes after fire (for crusader) so I get ready to triple my damage VS Rift Guardians right after fire.
I also really want to use this ring to build an assasine demon hunter with Impale (which - lucky me - is top tier).
