Please add native controller support on PC.

This is an often requested feature. Let’s hope it comes at some point.
And in before Aboshan comes in to say “No support, game is in maintenance mode”
Do you think that is, in any way, an untrue statement about the game?

Blizzard stated very clearly that Diablo 2 would get no further support after 1.09 which released on December 5, 2001. On October 28, 2003, they released patch 1.10, then more patches, then a remaster, then a DLC.
That was also amidst many players still asking/begging for additional features, getting told by other players "What part of “no more support do you not understand?” Those same players who said that disappeared once support continued.
Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to believe that something may either be cooking, or they’re gauging to see how many still play or want more for the game.

Being able to play with a controller would be amazing.

Yeah but make it more like Diablo IV controller, not like the PS3 Diablo 3 controller UX / UI.
I personally like Mouse and Keyboard lately, and I understand controller would be well received by players. But yeah I’m fine on M&K.

What you need to understand is that D3 was initially developed as a PC game using a keyboard and mouse.
Then came the console versions.
The technical architectures (I’m not sure I’m using the right words) are not the same.
It’s like developing software for Windows and Mac. Not the same structure.
Even though I understand the request, apart from a D3R, it’s not just a copy-paste of a line of code (contrary to what some might believe).
Or the devs will have to work on a Mac version with a controller, so as not to leave me out.
I don’t like playing with a controller, that’s just to emphasize my point.
