Hardcore players need faster exit strategy please
Start button press Triangle or Y to leave game then Triangle or Y to confirm.
example… Start Y Y
Buttons are closer together to help speed of exit.

No, it is plenty fast and you cannot do that on pc, otherwise you dead since there is 10 second timer.
10 second timer for what?
PC just has to hit ESC and click save and exit…
Console you have to press start hit the R1 button 2 or 3 times to navigate to the menu that has save and exit then use the stick or tap down on the dpad to get to save and exit and slam x to complete an exit…

Guess again. You have to be in town for that. You cannot quit out of a rift. There is a 10 second timer, so you will die if you try leaving and alt F4 does not work either.
On Console:
If you hold the directional pad diagonally down and left it scrolls to the bottom quickly. In about 1 second you can leave, so again leaving on console is already quick if you know what you are doing. PC HC is far more punishing.

Thanks for clarification. I played hc pd2 on pc and that is sketch at times. If it takes that long to exit game on d2r, you ded.

I tried d2r with controller and it isnt that bad really compared to kbm. I wish the right analog stick worked like it does on PoE.
Its a dat bit slow for navigation of menus but i to enjoy sitting on a couch and playing some D2!
Would love lobbies and a way to talk to others!
Party chat is how you talk to others. Never go full pepega.
Quitting out in hardcore is NOT hardcore, you are a softcore player stick to softcore.
On PS4, hit Options > Quit.
Not sure if they changed that for D2:R.
Otherwise, PS logo > Options > Close application.
I see you haven’t played D2, yet.
Even doing that is too slow. Imagine teleporting into a champ pack of might or Fanat aura. You dead almost instantly.
