Conquests not being credited

I am playing Diablo III, Season 25. I am working on the conquests in the season. I completed the Divinity conquest no problem. But I have also completed the Curses! conquest and The Thrill conquest, but have not received credit for the two conquests. ??? I killed 356 monsters in the Cursed Peat in Act V. I completed a solo level 45 greater rift with no set bonus items. Why am I not getting credited for the conquests?

It has to be 350 (or more) mobs that were spawned by the cursed chest. What you likely got was a kill streak of 365, i.e. it included mobs that were not spawned by the cursed chest, such as those around the base of the ziggurat the event’s on. Not a bug.

Reach Greater Rift Level 45 Solo without any Set items equipped.

Your seasonal Barbarian is wearing…

  • Helm of the Wastes (set item)
  • Blackthorne’s Duncraig Cross (set item)
  • Raekor’s Heart (set item)
  • Focus (set item)
  • Immortal King’s Stature (set item)

You’ve read that and assumed it meant that you can’t have any set bonuses in effect but the conquest requires that you have no set items equipped, i.e. if you wear even a single green item, the conquest will fail.

The Massacre Bonus kills DO NOT count. The Cursed Chest kills only count.


It has NOTHING to do with Set Bonuses.

You CANNOT be wearing ANY Set items AT ALL.

Also, monsters spawned by the chest, but killed after the timer expired do not count. He could have killed 340 chest spawned monsters while the timer was live, then killed 16 more that were spawned by the chest after the timer expired.

When you kill monsters spawned by the chest, once the event is concluded, you get a kill count that says “you killed XXX monsters.” This is the only number that matters. At the same time, there may be other kill counts, like the massacre modifier. There can be like 3 wholly different kill counts displayed – 1) what you killed during the timer, spawned by the chest; 2) any secondary bounty kill requirement like x/y; 3) massacre string – the one that matters is the one that shows a number and says “before timer expired” as shown (this is not mine; I stole it from someone else who had the same “problem/bug.”)

Oh, and yeah, that GR 45 solo with no set items is easy to confuse. I did it last season by forgetting to remove my Focus ring. Did it again and everything was copacetic.

Did you do the cursed chest on T10 or higher?
