Completely uninstall D3 and everything associated with

Hey all. I have recently been having a lot of issues with Diablo 3. I just tried to delete and reinstall, as the game has been installed on my pc for ages, and I thought a clean install might resolve a couple of my issues. However I noticed after uninstalling, there was still a lot of stuff that wasn’t uninstalled using the battlenet app. What would the correct steps be to uninstall D3 and everything associated with it, so when I re-install I know everything is fresh? I want to make sure when uninstalling that any folders, cache, documents, saved settings, etc are removed.

Read the Advanced Troubleshooting section :

That does not completely remove all the residual files/folders/game cache etc. That’s what I tried.

Which folders haven’t been included?

I cannot remember exactly, I just know there were quite a few left over

Read these two as well:

And this:
Delete Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders:

  • C:\ProgramData\ (already included in the support links)
  • %APPDATA%
  • %LOCALAPPDATA%
