Code error 1016 - North America

Still having disconnection issues, I checked my internet connectiions and firewalls…they are fine…After playing anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes. the game drops…I tried to get a support ticket and send in my MSinfo and diagDX files…but even they had problems…SO Frustrating…

Hey there,

Are you using a wired or wireless connection to your router?

Could you post a WinMTR run to 24.105.30.129 for 15-30 minutes and capture a disconnect?

I am in Australia, & the amount of disconnections that i get per game is not funny. I have lost so many bounties, XP, & keystones because of these disconnections.
You would think that after all of this time since D3 has been running, Blizzard would have sorted all of these problems out. I don’t have these problems with other games, why this one?

Same here, I can only get a stable connection between 3am and 9am, but Im in Michigan, USA. It’s them, they cut servers down a few years back because of low playership, and now during quarantine people are coming back. And instead of admitting it, they’re running us all around thinking that it’s cool until they can go in a service said servers that have been neglected due to legally not being able to show up at work. It’s deplorable and I’m just all done. I need a refund because this kind of blatant run-around isn’t tolerable even if you have class action immunity claims. I need my 75$ back for my unplayable no offline mode having Fail. Sure, I know the law is preventing a lot of stuff, but even more so a partnership with Activision is preventing me from buying anything you put out from this day forward. And remasters I have to pay for while owning the OG for 20 years instead of like making new games? Ick. I don’t think I’ve ever done so many tutorials to fix a game in my entire 31 year gaming experience, and not a single one works except playing at non peak times which is unacceptable for any paying gamer who has a job, or a family even.

I am suffering the same problem since one week ago I think. Only between 2 AM to 9/10 AM I can play without problems, and I play on HC, so its no funny at all. I started to play in Europe, so I spend most of my time playing there, the servers works perfectly fine, I never got disconnected in any particular time.

This is a server (America) problem, and I doubt they can fix it simply because the crazy ammount of ppl playing these days, it seems the servers on Europe are much better than America’s servers.

And please, enough of tickets/winMTR and all that kind of stuff because THE ONLY game I have problems with is Diablo 3.

I am having the same problems and tried numerous fixes and nothing worked but I do play in Europe and still have the same problem, since the season started. The problem is not tied with the American server

Because Blizzard is too cheap to get proper servers.

Probably, still having problems, tho i know there r more people online atm, we still should be able to play without all of these hassles.

Having this same issue , 1016 . Am in Aus , playing on US server . Last few days constant drop outs , timing out in hero select ect. Near constant 1016 errors , as well as 3006 and a ton of other errors popping up. Even the support website is running like trash and wont accept my support ticket due to errors.
