Code 395002 bug

I have a friend that has a problem logging into d3, when retrieving hero list, it appears there was an error loading the hero. Please try again. (Code 395002)
Is it possible to fix it please?

I can’t log in the game. I get the error code 395002.

I tried all these following steps and none them solved the issue.

Method 1: Log out of the game then log back in

The best way to fix this issue is to log out of the game. Wait for a few seconds before logging back in. This will refresh the game data and usually fix the problem.

Time needed: 5 minutes.

Method 2: Run the Repair tool to fix the Diablo 3 Error Code 395002

This tool will fix any corrupted or damaged game file that can be causing this problem.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
Click the icon of the game you are trying to repair.
Click Options
Click Scan and Repair.
Click Begin Scan.
Wait for the repair to finish.

Method 3: Switch to a different game region then switch back

Switching regions will refresh the game cached data and will usually fix this problem.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
Click the icon of the game.
Select a different region. You can do this by clicking the globe icon.
Switch back to the original region.


Method 4: Delete the Battle.net files

If the problem is caused by corrupted Battle.net files then you will need to delete these files.

Close all Agent, Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, and game processes from the Task Manager.
Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialogue.
Type C:\ProgramData\ into the Open field and press Enter.
Delete the Battle.net folder.
Run Battle.net and update the game.

Method 5: Uninstalling and reinstalling Diablo 3

None of these methods fixed the issue. Please fix this as soon as possible.


This is a really weird issue and I can’t fix this by myself or on my side. It needs to be fixed by Blizzard directly. Please, fix this today because I’ve paid for the game and I can’t play it.

As you can see on that thread via the link below, that issue happened in the past and the only way to get it resolved is to have some HELP by Blizzard. Please fix it! I can’t play!

I did all that and still get the error message.

It’s still not fixed. I don’t know what’s going on at Blizzard but I’m really disappointed. I can’t play and I didn’t do anything wrong. Please fix this issue. This is really annoying. I already sent a ticket and still no replies from Blizzard.

Eu te escuto. Quero dizer, já pagamos pelo jogo em si (Diablo 3), então merecemos que esse problema seja corrigido muito rápido. Já faz mais de 10 horas que não consigo jogar e estou muito insatisfeito com isso. Não vou desistir fácil disso, pode ter certeza.

You see now Blizzard. Many players do have the same issue but nothing is happening! What the hell is going on. At least if you would keep us informed about the process, it would help a lot to calm us down. I’m so infuriated right now. Nothing is happening. You don’t care about us at all even if we paid legit for the game. What’s the point of paying for something if we can’t access it? Please fix that broken game for once and let us play that g-d-mn game!

Add me to the list of people having this problem. Ya’ll need to chill a little though, expecting instant support is a little unrealistic for a 10 year old game

I mean. If the only argument that Blizzard has to tell us is that playing a 10 year old video game doesn’t deserve fast/quick fix for this, I would say that it’s a really poor argument. At the end of the day, we all paid legit for the game. I do understand bugs and stuff like that but party join bug, etc don’t prevent us to at least playing the game. The issue now is way worse than that because we even can’t play at all and for no apparent reason. I mean what the heck is going on with 395002 error code. That doesn’t make sense to me. It’s been more than 11 hours that I can’t play and Blizzard still hasn’t informed us about what’s going on. When it’s like DDOS attacks, they inform us almost right away but when it’s like 395002 error code, we wouldn’t deserve to get informed because it’s something different? I don’t accept that as a valid argument. Of course, I’m way infuriated and irritated right now and I insist to say that we deserve way better/quicker response fix than what we’re getting right now. Thanks.

It hasn’t even been a day and issues take time to investigate. And yes, reduced support for a TEN YEAR OLD GAME is a perfectly reasonable argument. You’d be hard pressed to find 10 year olds game that get any support.

I do understand about reduced support for a ten year old video game but that doesn’t mean that we deserve to not being able to play the game without any further explanations. That is in that way that i’m telling you that it’s not a full valid argument even if you have a good point. Moreover, my point isn’t concerning how old is a video game versus how much a video game deserves a high or a low level of support. My point is that Blizzard isn’t informing us about the situation and it sounds like you presume that they are working on that and we don’t know what’s going on. I know that whining or getting upset won’t help much to faster the process for this issue to get resolved but I don’t see anything happening right now and this doesn’t help better to think that it will be resolved soon or not. I will believe when something will happen but right now I don’t see anything happening so it’s hard for me to believe this. Thanks anyway and I have nothing against you personally. It’s all about Blizzard that I’m unsatisfied at and if i’m not allowed to be unsatisfied about not being able to play and this would be considered as normal behavior than what the heck is the point to pay for a video game if i can’t play it.

I think the main issue is this is an old game and this is an old error. So there should be a fix already known to do for this. Considering it is on the server side since both of my systems do not work on the American server but the European server is just fine. It would be nice to have the game not have to always be connected to the internet to play… Since it is a 10 year old game… If you are really wanting to play you can start a character on the other country server. Really is a kick in the teeth knowning you can connect and get access to the game on another countries server and not the normal server a person plays on so it is not our computers but the server.

I already know that Blizzard’s office hours ended 3 to 4 hours ago. I mean, I make these posts now so they will supposedly read them tommorow but I can’t take that as granted but as I’ve told you earlier it’s all about odds of something happening or not. If nobody talks/reply/make any threads about this issue I think it’s fair to presume that it might be slower for Blizzard to resolve this and even if I would be wrong about that it doesn’t matter because it’s not about me or about you. There’s nothing personal. It’s all about Blizzard to solve this issue and even if you think I’m unreasonable it doesn’t matter to me because we are in the same boat and that’s pure logic to say that we both want this issue to get it resolved sooner than later unless that you wouldn’t care when it would be resolved so what’s the point of showing me that you sound like as if I would have done something bad at you by the fact that Blizzard is the only one that is responsible to fix this.
