Class Comparison Season 19 Performance

Going to the maxroll website leaderboards, and looking at softcore for the combined regions of EU / US / TW/KR, then we can see the total number of 150 solo clears for each class as:

Crusader 202
Barbarian 126
Necro 35
Wizard 31
Monk 21
DH 17
WD 6

Any reason to think that this relative order of power comparison between the classes would be different in season 35 than this order?

New sets were added since then. If we look at the Barbarian, haven’t looked at stuff you have, but I imagine those were Wrath of the Wastes, or a zdps build. (Yes, zdps builds could solo a GR 150 with the theme). But ignoring the zdps builds, we can look to classes with builds like Wrath of the Wastes ie, GoD, PoJ, Crusaders with the Inarius set. (Basically sets that move while attacking will be good this season, especially since many of those builds were buffed well after they were introduced.

And if you are looking to do it with a zdps build, DH’s didn’t have a zdps build back then so just that alone will bump DH’s way up your given list.

Good info. Yes necro definitely will have more this time. Nova builds have become extremely strong even without a seasonal theme, and since they are great trash killers they will activate the bonuses more easily. Same can be said for the very powerful natalya’s dh and wave of light monk. They were not that good back then. In my opinion, necro will have the most clears this time or at least be in the top 3 spots. And witch doctor will be last, as usual, unless mundunugu surpises us with the trash killing potential.

As another example, Quinn has a video from Season 19, I can’t remember what build or class he used, but he cleared a GR 150 when he summoned the falling chests while fighting Hamelin.

I would give you more information about his build but the season was so long ago and I watched the video during Season 19, so the finer details I can’t recall.

Yes. As Killer said, they have added more sets since S19. Another factor would be having the Altar which helps some builds more than others. There has also been several balance changes (buffs and nerfs) to various builds since 2019.

While the numbers will probably be very different this season, you can be sure WD will be on the bottom, as is standard.

WD is D3s ugly stepchild. Sadly, they never get any love.

No doubt it would have been monk as that is what he usually used to play.

AoV Sader was new then and so was WW/Rend Barb.

Done did the brotha class dirty too. So much potential, but it just underperforms now-a-days. I remember a long time ago the WD was strong and really fun to play, especially the Zuni set. Not anymore. Not even Helltooth. Truly a bummer imho.
