Charater name Asryian clan after death Barbarian,ok. Why does it occasionaly show me as Charater Behemoth clan Prime Evils Monk. Its been happening all season it comes and goes. Hacked Account?
No, it is a Bug. You are not hacked. Nobody, not even you, can change your character name.
Several people are impacted by the same bug, so it is not just an issue for you.

The clan name part is a bug. If you view a profile of someone not in a clan, it will show the clan of the previous profile you’ve visited.
for an example, if you view my profile, you will see FWB. Then if you visit another profile of someone that is not in a clan, you will see FWB.
I have the same problem this season , never had it before. Its just so annoying . Is there fix for the bug ?
As of just today, I have the same problem. I show up to everyone in my clan as a different person (name), and if inspected a different clan name. I show up as a Sadar, while I’m playing a WD.
Same to me… reported und no help insight…yes i know, the game is new and so on.
My name changed into Korean lettering while in a pub bounty today. When I left the bounty , my name changed back but with no clan showing. After that , my name went back to Korean. Also I checked my other toons to see if it affected all. My SC toons showed only 967 paragon. My SC toons have over 2600 paragon. Whats up with this???
Yes, sometimes I cant even create a game. The game thinks I am using another profile. Hope they fix this problem.
The same thing keeps happening with me as well as showing my seasonal character as a hardcore character when its not causing me to have to start at the beginning of GRs if i die shows my clan as the wrong one all the time and my name changes as well at times.
I have same issue but it goes further than just changing name and Clan.
Some Details that may or may not be apart of this bug.
I noticed I never had this issue until I made the Leaderboards.
I noticed that if I do the loop
1. Log out of Blizzard app
2. Switch Region to EU/US
3. Log back in and start Diablo III
4. Open the Community tab
5. Quit Diablo III, Log out of Blizzard App, switch back region
and it works, 19 out 20 times the known half solve does not work to restore my name… but say I do get my name back… It Seems… to change back to the other name when I get bumped on the Leaderboard…
OTHER issues as I play HC and the Toon that I name morph into is a Non-HC toon so guess what Now I can not Start Games in Menus cause non-HC chars can’t do HC… So have to restart to hopefully be able to start a game on My HC toon… UGH talk about an annoyance… pluss I lucked out and the name is wants to change me to Is CaC wonderful… so dumb… Super Annoyed customer, our Player names are a huge part of our world as gamers and IN YOUR GAME WE HAVE SOMEONE ELSES NAME NOT OURS I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE IN ANY OTHER GAME EVER>>> ONLY YOUR GAME!

Same problem I cant start games it says I am non seasonal. Its a real pain in groups I always have to leave group ,log out and reset.
I have the same or similar bug problem.
When I am playing mid game, my hero’s name is changed to Guillex and I lose my clan tag JAG. The banner is also changed for some reason and I cannot join some games.
I have followed the above troubleshooting steps, but it continues without correction.

If you has a few toons, you can just switch toon and then go back…but clan name bug, just does not go away. Why are profiles cross-linked now? A response from Blizz would be nice, one way or the other? You now “We are looking into it” but nothing ;(
