Cheaters on the Leaderboards

Im just gonna remind myself and all, the cheaters are visiting this thread too.

One of them deleted his comments already as far as i can see, because he was not Legit obviously got scared when i said hes not Legit, botting since season 20.
The other one didnt remove himself from here but still botting. 300 paragons in a day 3600 to 3900 is pretty good for a exploit abuser, cheater, and botter.
Both of them do that anyway.
Now i have to speak in morse code not to get deleted lol.

And i have to take my words back, blizz is not consistent, i only get mass reported probably,

because i can see %king clear as day other people surely can “nameshame” others IN THIS VERY THREAD and their comments are not gone like every single one of my comments when im doing that

SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD
Ban the obvious cheaters and botters, fix the ongoing exploitt finally

You can see when a Poster deletes a comment but not when the Mods do it.

Users deleting threads leaves behind a placeholder for 24 hours. Hence the missing posts were removed by the mods.

Edit: What yessquire said!

Ha! Beat you to it.
Edit: In the old Forum, posts were numbered and one could see just how many had been removed.
Some of us here may remember an old thread asking for personal ban privileges. Many of those posts were obviously removed. Maybe that’s why they stopped numbering them.
Edit2: I know @MissCheetah remembers. BTW Hi, MissC/Mirasol.

On a desktop browser (because the address line is long enough to see the whole URL), you can slowly scroll through the posts and watch the last number in the URL. It can be done on mobile too, it’s just more tedious.

What is even your point? I still strongly support p800 cap theme, and my arguments in that thread still hold.

I ground all my paragon myself and I ain’t botting. Are you suggesting because I support p800 cap I should not allow myself to compete with others?

Get lost weirdo.

And what exactly is this exploit you speak of?
I havent heard anything about it until this thread, curious.

We know, they were able to shut down the old mega thread about this exact topic. They banned together and mass flagged it, and the sad part is they won!
Rather then cheaters getting what they deserved, they got the thread locked and went on cheating lol.
No justice in that whatsoever.

I think the 800 para cap was the best anti-cheat measure EVER.
Sure it upset tons of people, but a lot of “those players” were cheaters that were effected. Every season should have a realistic paragon cap, and not 20k like it currently is.
If p800 caused termoil, set it to something the average player can acheive and not too high to allow skilled players to compete vs. cheaters on the boards.

The exploit cannot be duplicated because it only affected those who had logged in during the temporary shutdown and who already had massive Paragon in Non-Season that they assigned and carried back over when Season restarted.
I had one Hero that this affected, but I only gained 200 Paragon when it restarted unlike some who gained thousands.
It was Blizzards mistakes that allowed this to happen and I’m not sure that all who benefitted should be penalized. Some, perhaps, but not all.
Edit2: I don’t think any of those who assigned Para when they thought Season was over expected it to restart the way it did. They were like " Look, I just found a $100 bill on the ground. I’m going to spend it."

Well, Ponury thinks anyone that carried over paragon, even if you had only earned it from the season before it ended prematurely, are exploiting… lol

They think Blizzard should have reset all paragon to 0, not allowed the negative thing. I think they are mad because they didn’t get to partake in this negative paragon thing themselves.

They even accused me of exploiting. Which was reprehensible.

Anyway. Just ignore them. They have been angry posting for a couple days now. :stuck_out_tongue:

On the bonus side, I’m nearly back to where I was. Only 260 something to go.

Some complainers, not naming names, remind me of the old joke about the person who killed his Parents and wanted leniency because he was an orphan. :crying_cat_face:

Batman doesn’t want leniency. He wants vengeance.

Oh PLEASE do.

That way I don’t have to read your non-sense replies at me.

So did many others. But I never merged my non-season paragon to the points that were EARNED this season prior to the early end. I’m playing using the points I had earned from this season. Period. End of story.

Unfortunately some did make extra point gains. And a few of them have been actually using those gains to play at levels higher than they would have with the points they had from the season alone.

I have NOT. Nor am I playing a build that could reach top levels easily. Finally, I really don’t care about the leaderboards myself anyway.

So you can just go spew your nonsense at someone else. Tired of listing to your angry rants and rhetoric. Your post is reported for trolling.

You are now on MY ignore list. Have fun.

English isnt your native language, so there may just be miscommunication at hand, no need to accuse them of condoning or defending cheaters.

Dude, this is the first post of yours that I’ve even read, let alone reacted to, in at least several days. And I’m only reading it because you are specifically and repeatedly attempting to respond directly to me, because apparently I’m living in your head rent free right now.

Please evict me from said head space. I rather forgot you even existed for the last few days, and I kind of liked it that way.

I don’t care about you. I believe I literally said that as what was going to be the last official thing I ever said to you. Your attempts to fixate on this is just making it weird.

You’re going back on ignore and I’m never interacting with you again no matter what you say. Quote it out and stick it on your fridge.

I blocked them the other day. I think they live to stir up people and get a response.

Just don’t even reply to them, its not worth the effort. Its rare I ever block anyone, and in all the years on this forum, they made me increase my blocked list to two. lol

Game on.

Once someone goes on my block list, they’re there to stay. I’ve tried the “block for a little while” thing and I’ve never had good experience with it. You think and hope that some people will grow up, but it’s alarming how few do.

I do hope everyone who says they’re going to block someone does it for real and doesn’t fake block like the OP of the last thread who says they block people but only does in an attempt to farm forum karma, yet still directly reply to people. Or that guy, Mr. Z who falsely claims blocking but will reply to you with absolutely nasty responses just quick enough so you’ll see what they said, then delete their comment to avoid being flagged.

They know what they do! And it’s really sleazy. It’s actually hilarious how badly they are failing. They definitaly do NOT have the touch as there was no rise!

I let my curiosity get the better of me this time, and the result was in line with your experiences. However, I honestly find the whole “View X hidden replies” thing to be perplexing just on its face. Sure, this time notwithstanding, I usually have enough self control to just not click on them at all, but… why is it even an option?

It would be incredibly trivial to just NOT show the messages, period. No placeholder, no alerts, no “you THINK you know what you want, but you really don’t” shenans.

Just very weird to me. It happens on other forums too, and even Discord. It has to be intentional, I think, just given how pervasive it is across basically all social media platforms from all developers. Probably playing on the fact that negativity is scientifically proven to drive higher engagement metrics.

I agree, it shouldn’t even be there. They really need to make the ignore list an actual block list. Make it so that I cannot even see their threads or when someone else quotes them… or when they use their alt account to quote themselves so that you see them. I want them to basically not exist.

I’ve only seen something akin to this on 1 other forum. It’s never really made sense and there has never been an explanation why it’s like that. As someone who has moderated forums for a very long time, I always encourage people to block/ignore trolls. When you still slightly dangle them in some people’s faces, it’s bad, especially for some people who naturally have little to no self-control, often times not their fault.

I guess it’s better than some forums where you can actually get banned for ignoring people, especially if they’re a friend of the mods.

You know, I was just thinking about how at one point, you and I were getting into heated discussions iirc. I don’t even remember what for, it was years ago I think.

I’m glad we remained level-headed enough to not wind up on each others’ block list
