While playing Diablo III, (I love the gameplay, btw) the boasting can become a bit lame, and repetitive. I’d like to be able to toggle that off: Someone can only bear listening to “I bet you didn’t see that coming” so many times before it becomes annoying - and after level 70, you can believe, it is annoying.
Are you new to the game? Many of us have been dealing with it for over 8 years. Adjust the voice volume.

Not with my household, I have a hard enough time getting in playtime without being interrupted by someone who wants my computer. I will not advertise my gametime with loud music. (heh, my headphones got trashed by the gamers dropping it or flinging it across the room with the chord getting caught in the arm rest. (FLING- smash!)) So, no headphones for a bit. Sad.

Just turn down the Voice volume in Options like the rest of us.

I actually like our character boasting when there got stronger.
But yeah, turn off the voice volume if that bothering you.
Wait our characters actually make boasts??!?!?!
Guess I need to turn on audio this I gotta hear!
Even more lame is when they throw a boasting line right after revive.
I have voice volume at 2. You can barely hear them while fighting but can hear NPC’s in town a little bit. I say take the stupid chatter between NPC’s in town away. That is annoying. Also would someone at Blizzard PLEASE remove the shutter bang in Bastions Keep. Every time I hear it I think someone is knocking on my door. When my game starts there I immediately go to another town.

After learning nephalems’ background story some of the boasting on kills sound like sweet music to me.
“Drink beneath the endless tap!”
“Feel the malt of Ytar!”
