So I am sure some of you have noticed that just before this last weekend they added in double goblins, but have you also noticed the 1 minute spped buff as well?
I have been noticing that I have been getting the dimensional speed buff in all aspects of the game, including GRs. If I happen to pick up a speed pylon, I have 2 dimensional speed buffs. Before you ask, no I was not ising the spear of the lycander. This is happening 8n solo and in groups.
The question now is, is there more to come?
Speed pylon grants you movement speed.
Breaking objects grants you movement speed.
Perhaps the buffs for these have the same icon?
love it, yeah when you get lucky and get the massive goblin spawn and they are doubled = $$$$$ wahoo also double goblins show up in ancient vault for extra juicy loots
Are you saying there is a speed buff now in the game not linked to any existing mechanic? (pylon, bracers, skills, passive etc)?
Er nope…packs are not affected nor in the Goblin Vault.
Yes homer, there appears to be a speed buff not related to shrines, pylons, ect. It is showing up as a 30 second dimensional speed buff. No gear giving the buff, it is given to all in the group, not spear of lycander.
As of now, I do not know if it is a bug or not. However; there are a couple of new bugs that I did notice and reported.

The speed buff comes from breaking things. It’s always worked in GR’s, or at least for a long time.
As for Gob packs…
They say they are not affected, but have you found one since the buff went up?
Certainly seems like there’s double gobs there too. It was nuts!
Even in vaults, the random spawn gobs are in fact doubled. The static ones hiding in the gold piles are un-affected.
Even found 2 Snitchleys in there.
I am completely aware of speed boost from breaking objects, this is not the same. With what I am talking about, there is a buff showing up on buff bar as dimentional speed. It looks identical to buff from speed pylon.

The first image highlights the buff from the pylon, the other is from breakable objects.
Those screenshots are of pc and nothing in the pictures ties it to breakable objects other than just saying its from breakable objects.
On console, we have never gotten a buff icon from breakable objects.
Seeing 2 seperate speed buffs is something very new to see. Could it be from breakable objects? Sure, but it would be the first time I have ever seen it. I have been playing on console since 2013 with over 330 days of game play on just the xbox one.
As I know you are an experienced player I’m going to fire up and test on PS4…even though I’ve quit S20 lol.

Regardless, you would notice this is in a greater rift, as such there is no other way to get two of these buff icons simultaneously. There are no shrines. Only pylon buffs, and on some maps, breakable objects.
This isn’t true. There are videos on YouTube showing it does get an icon.
I’d link one of the vids I watched, but they were all done with hacked characters and I don’t want to post it here. I tried to find a legit one, but honestly… I’ve wasted enough time on this to be scanning through more videos simply to prove a point.
I still don’t think what you saw was a bug, mearly a stacked buff from two separate sources, which have the same name and icon.

Sorry dude I ran many rifts and GR’s and saw no dimensional speed buff at all…must be something related to you, your build or your group.
My build was just a SB WD, nothing fancy.
@Jay. I never called it a bug, the closest I came to referring to it as a bug was saying " as of now, I do not know if it is a bug or not." It very well could be from breakable objects; It just strikes me as odd that I have never seen it before now.
Its from breaking objects. There is no additional buff that was put into place. The only logical answer is that is didn’t see the buff before. No need for over complication.
Are you running with Echoing Fury? This provides up to 25% MS.
Not running any items for movement speed. I’m not the only person noticing it. As stated before, never seen this pop up like this before until they added the double goblins this season.
I have been recording when it happens. Will upload the clips. Wat hing these clips, I do not see massive obje t breaking, but will review them thoroughly.
I played for an hour and saw nothing on PS4…I’d love to see your vids and your gear…as I say you are known as an experienced player so there must be something here…
