So when the season started, I did the challenge rift, but when trying to select group, it will not and it stays on solo. Is this a bug ?
I’ve noticed that CR grouping is only allowed if selected from a non-SSF character.

I couldn’t select a party either and I don’t have any SSF char.
I don’t play ssf. I can also group up just fine normally. It’s only the challenge rift.
We get strange things happening in the game sometimes. Yesterday I wanted to change from one SSF charachter to another and got the message that it couldn’t be done because the character was busy or something (can’t remember the exact wording), but I had to exit completely and restart the game.
Yes, I got the same thing, could not group up with non-SSF character. Managed it solo though, 'cos it was easy (Europe).
On eu here as well. I wonder if anyone else have this issue
I made the SSF vs non-SSF CR grouping observation based on my S31 experience but haven’t tried it in S32. Looks like the behavior has changed this season, or perhaps it was a fluke for me in S31 - wouldn’t be surprised either way.
Maybe the Nephalem need to have some more time at the bathroom stall or shower after a long day of demon slaying. Give them some privacy. Joke aside, it could be about the game struggling to load their stash and inventory since your current character occupying that space and they can’t flush that data away.

I’ve never played ssf. That’s why I think it is a bug. I simply can’t click the group button, it won’t let me, but I can group up normally.
This is annoying tbh. since I like playing in groups

Today EU grouped up just fine.
US too, but I found nobody and finished that one single without an issue.
Same here, played with others, so hopefully it was a one time thing
